Every time I’ve seen someone refer to Resto Druids they simply say Resto or rDruid, and then even a single mention of a Druid spell makes it 100% clear you’re talking about Resto Druids (if you just said resto)
Also, one of my good friends pretty much mains a resto druid and has for years. She simply says Resto. And if she talks about Resto while she’s on her druid … the connotation is usually quite clear. If she meant her Resto Shammy she’d say her Shammy.
And even the excuse of “rdudu is a valid way to refer to resto druids!” doesn’t hold water. I mean, there are probably hundreds of thousands of messages talking about resto druids, and when only a dozen of them use rdudu … its not exactly a term that holds any weight.

Like someone else said, there are less than 20 references to rdudu. I looked and yes, some of them were serious. But think about how many references there are to resto druid on the forums. No way does a handful of references hold any weight.
Zappiboi, silly as it is, probably has far more references than rdudu.

It honestly makes no sense to me. They make rdruid the best m+ spec, and vulpera are creatures of nature… how are worgen more equipped to be dudus than vulpera?
I’m probably overthinking it but I like to match my races to my classes in a sort of lore sense. My next pick will probably be a rogue or a hunter.
I’d have nothing against more classes being added to more races. But the way the OP went about it isn’t making the cause look good.
