Work on what? The gear will be Warbound. Shove it in your Warbank and pull it out when we’re released.

Is this what you call boosted characters, too?
Although, we did actually level these characters. And some I know did it in the same time (three days) as they can on Retail. So I’m not sure I really follow this line of thinking.

I have to get started on unlocking the the tillers rep!
(oh wait, I don’t do I? No wait, they aren’t doing legacy reps yet … or are they? I’ve lost track of what exactly is and isn’t coming. Oh well, I can wait another day to find out exactly what goes live)

Pretty sure there is no Tillers rep in Remix.

That’s the problem. (unlocking the farm is a part of the core traditions for all my characters regardless of where and how they level)

Yeah I leveled this toon in remix for War Within. I want to switch from a Night Elf to a Tauren and didn’t want to buy a faction change so I just rerolled. But I can’t do much with her which is sad.
You know what you signed up for. I tha been known that the prepatch ends on the 19th. ALso all currency and items form the Prepatch are warbound till equip. So literally do it on another character and send it over on the 19th. Suck it up cupcake.

Yes, I certainly do lol.
Every time an expansion gives me a free boost, I immediately use it on a random character and delete it.
I don’t want your stinkin’ boost!
What I want is to play my characters from the start and form a bond with them, actually learn how the class plays, etc.
It’s about the journey.

Eh, it depends. If I use mine, I do a class I already have/know how to play. I think it only applies to people who boost something they have no idea how to play.

I understand this, but even then, I’ll choose another race for a class I’m familiar with, for the Heritage armor.
I feel like there’s always something to be gained by leveling, be it forgotten quest transmogs or whatever.
Yes they do. They deserve everything the whole world has to offer.
AND THEY’LL GET IT, TOO!

My remix characters.
No one had an issue with this “restriction” until it became clear remix wouldn’t end before the prepatch. It barely ends before the expansion.
Even with Warbound prepatch gear, I think it’s reasonable to want to play these characters in the actual game during the prepatch.
I’d get all the resistance to it if they announced the expansion to be August 22 / 26 and then dropped Remix and said you wouldn’t be able to leave until it ended. But that’s not what happened.
