yeah, and let New characters. even players returning to the game who haven’t done any of the content, let everyone just buy rank 3 essences without needing to “unlock” them.
atm anyone who might want to convince people to come back can not in good faith recommend the current state of the grind. it takes too long to get a fresh new character up to speed.
most people are already saying, “just wait till shadowlands, because by the time you caught up shadowlands will release and ALL the effort will be rendered a colossal waste of time.”
if players at least had essences its kind of possible to get them back in the game but even then the cloak grind puts them off again. best i managed was get someone back for 1 day… ONE DAY. X-X
To get sanity loss reduction to do mask runs to get corrupted gear.

As someone who has been powering that Grind for essences, its not that bad.
It sucks, but its doable in a few weeks, and no one wants a handout.
I am earning my essences by hard work and 100% fine with it. It doesnt take 14 weeks to get essences.
Essences and Heart Levels are fine as they are. Only the Malefic cores needs a change.
I don’t mind that because it bumps up the reply posts and keeps the post relevant which should be done on the other post that already has 4k+ views. By replying to this post and trolling Clark knows what he is doing by burying the other one so it has less of a chance to grab Blizzard attention due to its increased view count. You are all being played.
No one in this thread truly cares about the upgrade.
the OP, Clark, and the other guy, all want the other buried and thats why they made a post that will be hot button. No one in their right mind thinks that is the correct way to give a core catchup, OP is banking on it.

The free one, the mechagon one, the visions one and, some random rank1 green. maybe rank 2 flame with a 3 week (resets) time gate.
you would have no use for the core unless you were R15 so you could still prioritize and buy all the other stuff along the way until you were R15…
And minimizing the number of weeks are not rank15 is absolutely important because it unlocks cores and easy mask runs.

I personally am a PVPer, and a DH. Gushing Wounds, Rarest Corruption, by a landslide. So ya GL with that lol.
On top of that, does 475 gear rain from the heavens? Not really,… Ya let me take off my 470/475s and replace them with a 445 for better corruption while I buy cloak catch up with my Echos.

Well to be fair, Second main. Since coming back late, just playing DH for now as Aff is dumpstered in 8.3 and destro is garbage gameplay.
