-Improved Music
-Improved spells, mechanics, professions get “specialty bonus”
I promise you my 5+ years as a WoW enjoyer, and WOTLK advocate if you dropped even a teaser of HC WOTLK the subs will flow, the wine will be shaken NOT STIRRED and the vast amount of players waiting for the call to battle once more against the Lich King. Swords will be broken, Shields will be splintered Let us one last time do battle against Azeroth’s greatest Enemy!

They would have to launch us into Burning Crusade first, though, as the other Anniversary servers are getting the pre-patch around next December and the BC drop in early 2026. Sadly, Blizzard has already said that the BC content doesn’t fit within the context of Hardcore, so they probably won’t like the idea of Lich King, either.
I’m with you, though: WotLK is and will always be the King of WoW expansions! I wish we’d get it on HC. Can you imagine HC’ing a Death Knight? Awesome!
Is it really HC if LK kills you at 10% and then you need to accept a res?
