you need to:
- chase world bosses, just fly on the map one to another every few min to get keys(to get some bla loot from each door), maybe a primordial stone
- jeweler gives you an item upgrade the stones. + materials you get by destroying other stones
- to just have an inferior item? (not even best in slot)
- the rings will just be good for 1 or 2 months till next patch?
i am missing something? just want to be sure in case i need to rant about blizz idea of content.

I just summon profession rares so I don’t have to chase the other random spawn rares all over the place, unless I’m looking for a particular drop (like a manuscript).
Seems to have a decent key drop rate, then go turn in the overflow for gamble bags for keys.

Sent my alt a request for the Eng item, and it multicrafted.
5 items to summon the rare and because I am the summoner you get more loot. 2x keys per kill + other stuff and high chance at scroll if you using Azure thing
They buffed the stones pretty good. The ring did little over 10% of my damage in a +20 as bm. Going to try it out in a +20 as MM and see how to goes.
Also, has anyone else noticed the ring shows up as itmlvl 443 on wow armory?
Shows up like that on Raidbots as well, making me wonder if it’s throwing our sims off and showing higher than expected gains.
Shows up as 424 on a sim I did for my BM hunter just now. And yeah, with the buffs it got, in the last M+ I did, the ring did ~13.8% of my damage on Ner’zhul alone. Running THAT combo.
Granted, THAT combo might be an unintended fluke so who knows.
It is meant to be a catchup system before 10.1.
It is 100% optional.
In the Forbidden Reach, you can loot various items profession items which you can work order or fix yourself if you have the right profession and recipe. For example, when you fix Damaged Trident, it turns into Ancient Ceremonial Trident.
When you are in the Forbidden Reach, you should get a star on your mini map that leads you to the location to put the item.
Every profession, both crafting and gathering has its own item that you can loot and either fix or work order to get the item.
The items when fixed are not soulbound, so you can also buy them on the AH.
Haven’t even been to the reach yet lol. With comp stomp, and upcoming tw events, doubt I will be heading there anytime soon
It’s more to help catch up on gear or gear alts anyway. If you’re into pvp, there’s little to nothing going on there.
Loading up on medal of honor tokens to send to alts lol. Got like 20 on one of my characters.
The parts your missing are:
- if you’re a raider, do m+, or have pvp gear, this is only a distraction.
- it’s intended for ungeared alts and new players who haven’t had time to gear up.
Beyond that, no. You nailed it.
I mean with maxed optimal stone it apparently out performs mythic eranog ring for me
Seems like a cool and super easy to get ring for alts
what stones did you use for BM
I just went with the Icy Veins guide.
This isn’t a content patch, so temper your expectations #1
There are pets, toys, and a mount to get as well. If you care about that stuff.
You are pretty spot on for the ring, though.
It’s best in slot for tanks. It’s also great for low-geared alts or open-world Andies.
