Nah back in Vanilla when this came out it was server only not X-realm like this crap version that came out right before TBC. Games lasted hours if not days. No need to all click at the same time since you were all getting in the same AV.
There wasn’t an in-game chat feature back then lol Remember #Nochanges, right?
Goodness, replying to me twice and erasing the first because you didn’t reply directly and therefore you somehow thought I didn’t see it but you wanted to make sure it came up in my notification anyway. You might want to get off the forums and actually make some real friends. Enjoy your queues.
As far as I’m concerned, premades didn’t in any way create this mess. What you have here is a drastic PvP population imbalance that has created a situation many Alliance players deemed unacceptable. Many of those players utilized the only avenue they felt available to them, one which Horde solidified 5 years ago in retail, simply to be able to play the game.
For whatever reason, this time Blizzard decided to take steps. That’s fine, but the result is actually less Alliance players wanting to go into AV. So really, the OP makes it out to be that Alliance have created this giant mess for themselves when in reality, the only impact any of this giant mess has had is on Horde.
Yes, it is unfortunate that my faction seems to be apathetic towards trying in PvP, but being forced to play with people who don’t want to play will only reduce my desire to play because Alliance AV PuGs are a crappy place to be and I have very little control over that now.
also:
For Weeks, we threw out invites to everyone and anyone who would like to enter
For Weeks you didn’t want to join premades, thinking yourself too good.
For weeks victory was not uncommon, games were hard, and fun.
now you can go cry in the corner because now “we” all lose together! hurrah!
How did premades create this mess? They used the game’s features as intended. If you refused to join a premade that was your fault. You chose to be the “lone wolf” as opposed to a team player.
This “mess” is due to people whining and Blizzard caving in and changing an established game mechanic rather giving the community a much needed dose of “Git Gud” that they would have in actual Vanilla.
NO ONE NEEDED TO USE THOSE FEATURES TO GET IN THE SAME GAME SINCE IT WAS ALL SAME REALM AND HAD ONE GAME. Do you get it now? That is what you’re talking about right? Using Voice chat to get your entire premade into the same AV when there are multiple games going?
This was NOT an issue when AV came out in Vanilla.
I’m truly sorry you played on a low pop server, but this wasn’t the case for everyone. Premade AV addon was all the rage when I played, and was a must.
That’s a Class, and One PvP Racial advantage against poisons and bleeds. You do know a good number of Horde racials work well in both PvE and PvP right? I’m not complaining, cuz I’ve accepted vanilla/classic for what it is, but I’m pointing out that there is clearly a Racial advantage on the horde side.
I’ve been in AVs that did exactly what you said they wouldn’t. Ya know, they won! Sure… Fast mounts cover more ground. But having all 40 people working together makes quite a bit of sense.
I did not like what premade teams did to our Battlegrounds, but I respect these teams for their efforts to remain as a unit (instead of whine.)
