Legit question for warriors

Either make feral lunge better or make all other melee mobility worse. We shaman deal in absolutes even in non issues that dont even warrant a forums post.

because hamstring is on the global, which means he wasted 25% of his stun applying a slow to you.

ur a resto druid, ur spells are 40 yd range, ur talented into 45 yd range with the astral influence. charge is 25 yards, storm bolt is 20 yards. its going to take a warrior a few seconds to waddle at you to throw a hammer then charge. when u see that u should try dropping ursols vortex which will waste his charge and his storm bolt, and even more of his mobility. i also advise u to talent the pvp tranquility move that makes u immune to damage while u channel it so u can just press that the next time u get caught in spear.

also keybinding bear form might help, warriors rlly dont like armored targets. u should probably talent ursocs vortex too if u havent

now go out and heal the slayers of villainous stinky warriors

I thought dps Shaman, specifically Enh, suffered more from a lack of defense.

Did you change from lvl 10 monk to 45 dh?

Been playing warrior a little. There’s short windows where I’m frustratingly trying to press my glowing button but I can’t because I’m not close enough, there’s a PvP talent that would fix this but I like the other ones better.

Conversely, playing warrior on wotlk too while leveling up.

I get stuck in roots into more roots for over 10s. I can’t charge in combat until level 30 when I unlock intercept, as the charge in combat talent is even further down the tree. I glare furiously at the druid, or mage, who I really, really want to swing my axe at but -can’t- but, it’s fine. It’s all fine. There’s other people for me to hit closer by. And if I do hit that druid or mage even my white attack moves their health bar. (At low level)

I’m actually enjoying gimped low level warrior in wotlk more than I am max level warrior on DF. I have so many gcds on live that it’s almost diluted the fun. I can always press something. It might not do noticable damage. But there’s a button to press.

Also something about the way numbers pop, sfx play, or something. I really can’t place what the difference is, but something about classic just feels better to be melee. It helps that it’s wotlk i imagine. I was working 16hr shifts and didn’t get to rexperience tbcc unfortunately. really regret that.

With what little expereince I’ve had with warrior so far. And understanding that it’s RSS. I feel like things can’t kite me as much as they can bait me into going somewhere that it’s harder for me to get out of the bad position than it is for me to get into it. But i’m also not hitting things that are more mobile than me so that needs to be taken into account.

double time, heroic leap and intervene with mutliple ways to activate bladestorm & inherent speed stat buffs. I feel insanely mobile.

Hey thanks for the tips! I will def listen to your advice once you hit at least 2k in 2s on ANY healer. and did you really just say they wasted time putting on a slow. and im not even talkign about being on my druid my guy im talking about any caster. you havent hit 2k in the last 10 years ill take your advice with a grain of salt.

Don’t say the D word man. I’m just here to get remorse from the casters that cant kite warriors.

Ah I see. Just as I suspected clinical poobrain. Commonly affects night elves so sad

yep trolls will be trolls. welcome to the forums you troll I see you trolling on other forms post as well.

kind of ignorant to not listen to someone who plays the class you’re asking about. or assuming that healing is inherently more difficult. my first time playing healer ever I got % duelist which is how I know that rating means nothing because i’m an awful healer. It’s not rocket science. it never has been. it’s just a different aspect of the game. one that you can appreciate from either side of the table.

Yes it’s very sad I managed to hit 2050 during the last season of legion too. But my addled boomer brain says that must be a decade ago

Playing the rating card is such a weak argument. It doesn’t make any of what he is saying untrue. He was genuinely trying to help you and he’s not wrong.

Evoker reminds warriors of their place. At least in duels. In arenas, is a bit of a different story. Because the warrior will usually have someone putting consistent pressure on the evoker.

oh im all for advice. but not from a warrior that is clearly talking about a single healer. I do vortex their leaps I do try to root them. but that guy is an RP troll and said why waste a global putting on a slow. I play almost every healer havent really started monk this time and working on my Rsham.

hold on let me switch my character to my priest. let him respond with how to live then. He legit just said why waste a global putting a slow on up above. hes prob the most zug zug warrior in the game.

@yossarrion - whats the healers name you played?

Ok well the other war can just speak for himself whatever lol.

I dunno man I get rooted by druids on my warrior for days. It’s very frustrating, unless I wanna waste all my Bladestorms to break roots. And even then, you can just reapply the root when Bladestorm ends.

yep agreed I mostly play 2s and as soon as they get rooted which I try to do it LOS from their healer but if not its instant dispelled.

I mean, that’s up to him. What he values more than hamstring i mean. Picking GCD’s is a real thing for melee when you have a set kill window. Hamstring used to benefit from a reduced GCD which afaik no longer exists. So a lot of warriors might feel it’s an actual choice where it was common sense in the past.

Again, I think he meant he’s not spending a GCD during* his storm bolt on that when he has to kill. I don’t think he meant he’s not ever pressing hamstring.

Personally, as a rogue main who alts warrior, I press hamstring before anything else lol I haaaate not having it up. Targets that aren’t slowed passively infuriate me.

Depending on who you ask warrior is one of the least mobile or most mobile classes in the game.

I think they are high mobility. With two charges of … Charge. Intervene, heroic leap, 2 bladestorms (Avatar = bladestorm if you take the talent) and spear to keep people where you want them, piercing howl, and stormbolt. It’s a diverse toolkit. And that’s if you don’t take the execute charge, which I don’t think anyone does, but it would put warrior into the absurd tier for mobility.

before step was granted charges & they gave ambush a teleport, I would’ve said warrior had higher mobility than rogue. But they’re still not S tier in mobility due to buffs to other classes.

I don’t play healers friendo. I’ve tried in the past on other classes and I don’t enjoy the role. You asked an open ended question to warriors and I responded.

And yes I don’t waste a storm bolt global to hamstring you, if you end up trinketing the storm bolt it will remove the slow as well.

As far as living on your priest? My advice is to fly up when they spear you and use your favorite fiery verse from whichever religious organization you belong too. This firey oratory will inspire your partner to peel and put the fear of God in the warrior as you float unharmed down to the filthy warrior savage.
