Legion remix will be a flop

You must be blind. Go to the PTR Feedback. The discord that “Josh” (wow dev) posts in is also basically being censored now because of the amount of people giving bad feedback. Reddit had at least 3 2k+ upvoted posts about it (One is currently number one right now), and I have seen at least 3-4 highly liked posts in WoW General about it.

I am glad YOU enjoy it. But the vast majority of people do not. It isn’t just some vocal minority this time.

Maybe hop over to the PTR forums and take a look instead of listening the influencers that are only there to hype stuff up. PTR is overwhelmingly negative, I tried it myself and it is abysmal…

and I am saying it as someone who had a blast in Mop remix and ran daily community raid runs on my OP DH for people to get their achieves/bronze/gear.

Like what happened with the classic Megaman series.

First game does moderately, small team begs the higher ups “please let us do another one, we’ll even do it on our own time.”

Request granted.

Megaman 2 turns out one of the best in the franchise.

Higher ups: “E-erm! Uh, okay, put one of those out annually.”

Classic series proceeds to degrade in quality over the next few games.

Management needs to go. Useless meddling by executives who have zero understanding of the industry they bought into needs to go. Development teams need to self-manage. But we’ll never get that since that’s “socialism.”

What is anyone expecting out of this remix? Are people expecting it to be a brand new game? Are they expecting a life changing experience? Let me apologize because I think I’m beginning to understand.

I apologize on behalf of Blizzard for a PTR being riddled with bugs for the 15 day duration of it. I apologize for them not giving you a brand new experience in something that’s supposed to rehash an old expansion WITHOUT changing its history and what originally happened. I apologize that people become so impatient nowadays that 4 months of a legit WoW speedrun simulator isn’t enough time for them.

I see complaints to something that adds a secondary option for entertainment and is not meant to be taken seriously and I don’t understand why. Like, “here. Have some cake. Also, have some pie, too.” And everyone’s arguing like, “if that pie gets near my cake, I’ll sue your business.” What is genuinely the problem?

We’re expecting them to follow the proven successful blueprint of MoP remix. We literally expect them to do the minimum effort by changing nothing.

However…

Should’ve led with this. It’s why you’re here to begin with.
I just hope they’re at least paying you.

The problem is they took what made MoP Remix fun, removed all of it, then slapped the Remix label on Legion Classic+.

Ooooh, instant mission table quests, so engaging [/sarcasm]. It is almost like we don’t have mission tables in current expansions for a reason.

What the hell are you even talking about? Do you live in some alternate reality that you can’t understand what people are saying?

The formula for success was already there with MOP Remix and they unnecessarily changed a bunch of things FOR THE WORSE. that is what people are complaining about. Not bugs, or story, or whatever other imaginary conversation happening in your head.

  • Arbitrary timegating for content and raids
  • Different gearing system / even your ilvl is timegated between biweekly patches
  • no infinite secondary stat scaling and extremely slow power ramp up - opposite what we are used to in remix
  • SLOW leveling, no exp tokens, no % boosts… again opposite of what we are expecting in remix
  • Brainless people trolling chat … sorry thats you not related legion remix my bad.

Lmao. For one, they literally said that they’re gonna see how high mythic+ can go, so they had to change something to make it genuinely endless, rather than 100k threads for a pretend infinite power growth.

For the second part that you quoted, it’s always funny to see people cut their favorite lines rather than the actual points lol. It’s a free, fun extra thing. If people don’t like it, then just play for 2-3 weeks, unlock everything, then head back to classic or retail. I just don’t get it.

I like pet battles, but if I don’t want to do them, I don’t. It doesn’t change the world if I do it or not. That’s literally remix. Nothing changes if you do it or not.

So they took the fun parts from the Mop Remix, removed them, and gave us… what exactly?

Because this sounds like a worse retail with extra steps.

What’s the ilvl cap for remix?

I hope this isn’t anytime soon. I want to do the remix but I do not want to do any wow right now.

:man_shrugging: Dont play it then bro, then after in Retail you can get mad when you see everyone that partcipated mounts, mogs and toys  :man_shrugging: You must be a FF14 interm, LEMIX hasnt even came out yet but here you are with the “Doom & Gloom” :ox::poop:

Because the PTR isn’t a thing.

they are basically experimenting with Legion SOD/Legion classic and just slapped remix label over it … that’s it. Only thing remix about this is the daily lockouts and the fact that you can buy cosmetics from vendors… there is no huge player power creep, no zoom zoom, no fun alternative gearing, and there is everyone’s favorite feature… timegating bonanza with raids, ilvl, content locked behind additional biweekly patches.

you want to binge this alternative fun content on your own time and be OP… NOPE gear ilvl is locked behind current patch… You want to play argus stuff, you better be on 6 weeks after legion remix starts or you won’t get to play it…

Yeah and stuff NEVER changes from the PTR right? Its a SIDE game mode for the stuff i mentioned, weirdos are critiquing it like is a whole new patch for retail

Yo is the rock you are living under keeping you cool in the heat of this summer or you need AC down there as well?? How many times blizz has to push stuff from PTR to live in terrible state with overwhelming negative feedback for people to stop spouting this “oh its only PTR” nonsense…

The whole fun with MoP remix is that there was no balance.
