Legion remix 'Stranger in a Strange Land' quest

Chromie isn’t where they are supposed to be. I did all the steps, dropped quest and picked it up again, logged on and off and still not there.

I’m having this issue as well. I’m confused by this remix. All xpacs appear on the map, however portals are missing and chromie of course is missing. Are we “contained” to the legion era?

Yes. You won’t be able to go anywhere outside Legion content.

No AH, no Warband.

Same issue here. Waited 6 days for “Hungry Work” quest to work only for " Thaylssra’s Abode" also to be bugged with phasing. Spent an hour helping other Nightborne players by luring them out of the phase glitch with my pet. Now i’m stuck on “Stranger in a Strange Land”. It’s like none of the developers have tried playing this game on the race that’s having all the issues. Like literally 6 days to fix a hard stop in a quest line only for there to be an issue 2 steps later. They were like “Okay we fixed that part, time to log off, no way there could be other down the stream issues in game development”. Blizzard literally gives no $@%# that their game is unplayable.

12:46am Oct 15th 2025 - that’s cdt timeline - still waiting for Blizz to make comment on 318 topics is it? about Legion miscues, broken questlines, missing npcs such as chromie, etc.

Cannot complete ‘Stranger in a Strange Land’ on my highmountain tauren as of today. I can pick up the quest from Ambassador Blackguard, but Chromie is nowhere to be found in Org.

Same issue for me on my remix mage.

As of 17:58 EDT on 10/20/25 (Stranger in a Strange Land) is unplayable on Highmountain Tauren Warrior. The entirety of ORG is empty, save for a few random NPC’s. None of whom will allow you to turn it in. Dropping the quest and re-taking it, logging out and clearing cache, flying out of the zone and back in, none of them work.
They aren’t going to address or fix this issue so may as well abandon the quest. The only positive to this is that it’s a side-quest and not in anyway linked to the campaign or order-hall storyline so it is safe to abandon.
