It’s not really a FOMO thing as they are going to return similar to how the timewalking dungeons return.

I agree. These items will make a come back simply because they are lazy in designing new things. Remix is a prime example of the laziness.

As someone who has some mage tower appearances I say free them! By the end of legion mage tower was a cake walk since your artifact weapon was super powered up in the last patch. The only prestige they have is if you played during legion or not. Not that it was hard content.

To me its just a bizarre hill for Blizzard to die on. I think they should be re-obtainable.

So true! And I did mage tower. Add it for bronze for all I care. I never use them.
What we actually need is more low fantasy type weapons like the expedtionary greatsword. Something that makes sense and is practical.
I primarily want them back now because there are people here who have admitted they’d literally quit the game if their pixels weren’t exclusive anymore.

I don’t think they will be readded. Its not a massive deal to me but I would prefer that when a challenge becomes replicated old rewards are returned to it. I never did enjoy limited time events.

As I said before in this post by the end of legion it was no longer a challenge our weapons got super infused and basically anyone could do it.
I think it cut off before then… I can’t recall I know by the last tier the ilv turned the fights into 3ps affairs.
Are you going to post on a character who completed them or not?
Defiantly didn’t cutoff before that. That’s how I got mine ( I sucked back in legion)
If you are willing to wait a bit I dont mind sharing a full list. I just don’t play many of those toons often so im bound to get some names wrong.
I’m trying to see whether he’s one of those “It was so easy! I never did them though!” people.

Ive only ever gotten the mage tower appearance on my warrior for arms spec, and I love flexing it on the greenhorns who weren’t around for it. Makes me wish I got it on my warlock since I main one now, but ya don’t see me whining

Cool. Mind telling people why you want Blizzard to be arbitrary and be worse at communicating rather than better at it? Since what you are saying is “please never be honest about anything you ever say ever again” by virtue of saying this.
So… why do you want Blizzard to act more arbitrarily, be less reliable, and to effectively forever lie onwards? Since they have said “no” and explained why. Going back on that now would make everything they ever say ever again into just an arbitrary unreliable mess.
The Mage Tower didn’t release at the end of Legion. Just because others needed more time, help, and gear to complete it doesn’t change that the Mage Tower was released as a challenge to complete.
I saw ONE druid on one of the most popular realms on the EU manage to do the Guardian challenge on day one. The notion that it wasn’t “hard content” is entirely made up.
Ok first blizz lies all the time and goes back on there words.
Second it was hard when it first came out but super easy by the end never said it wasn’t.
