No, his fun is buying into conspiracy theories then telling others that they are the sheep.
The cost is the ramp. If they made these they’d see that.
Well that and its time for the makers time to make that alt lol. I don’t like it but I see it. I did eve manufacturing for years. If I had to put out some cost X…in some way the buyers cover that cost lol.
Why I stopped it and jsut made for friends. Spreadsheets online got way tooooooo much. They bring me the stuff, cover install fees to build (npc price for that)…and here are your items.
I am told many guilds out there if you give the mats they ahve the crafters who will make this for free even. So scare up the mats and look for these nice people is also an option.
It sounds like he doesn’t enjoy playing the game.

Yeah, there ARE some things Ive noticed, especially in the last couple expansions, where blizzard had clearly, obviously, set it up so the cost would have to be at least a certain level…ie only being able to get some mat from an NPC at an exaggerated price, thus setting a hard lower limit on the price of the finished item.

My friend is a leatherworker, and she told me she’s not even going to bother with it after seeing the material cost. I’m sure it’s very, VERY expensive, so not sure why people are complaining so much.
They have the option to pick up the profession and craft it themselves. If not, they should just earn the gold and pay the fee like the rest of us.
But again I’m not at all defending half a million. That’s obvious first weeks price, and it will go down.

I wish I enjoyed just looting as much as we are implying.
To me thats not end game. It just doesn’t feel good to loot things that aren’t challenging to kill or anything.
I leave behind IRL farming of money just to come into game and farm gold (which now has a conversion to IRL money). It just doesn’t feel good to me.

They aren’t doing themselves any favors attempting to leech more money off a paid subscriber or free to play option (not really speaking in regards to the OP’s conclusion, just in general). World of Warcraft is in one of the worst places it’s ever been and they are more interested in profit than they are at creating a good product anymore. A lot of people are leaving for companies that care more about the quality of their game than the Dollar signs.

I am saving them all currently. Hoping to find someone who can craft for me? Looks like they are going for 3k each. I don’t know really I’m not into that world of selling everything for max profit. Game trying to force you into it (or buy tokens) though.

Just pointing out that if you have 40 and sell them for 3k each…That’s 120K gold, which is most likely 50 - 75% of your legendary costs.
They have given you plenty of opportunity to make gold to pay for your legendary
I did not intend to be one of those guys that responds but people going crazy since I made the post. I gotta run. I guess I’m just trying to say it feels borderline predatory. certainly dishonest to try to milk more time played metric or token sales (or selling boosts, dont get me started). because its one or the other, you aren’t getting that gold quickly.
