Uh huh. The gold for that can be farmed making your base items too. It isn’t difficult. Hell, I have barely had time to play in the past 2 weeks and I’ve made over 80,000 gold just selling meat and cloth and doing quests and callings on only a single character.
Ah yes, level mutilple alts as well as leveling professions for each just to build up a legendary for one character. Perfect solution
80k gold is half the WoW token. 2 weeks is half the month. You do the math
I get it people, you make gold passively not doing anything. So do I, so does every single player, but the WoW token price accounts for that and if you think you make enough passively for a WoW token each month GTFO. I grind gold for about 20 hours each week and hover around 50k after buying my token so please stop trying gaslight me and shame me for not paying 15/month
I mean, that is what everyone did when I used to play seriously back in Cataclysm.
I could easily make a whole lot more gold, but I have a full time career (which incidentally also pays my 15 bucks a month), go to the gym a few times a week, spend time with my dogs and family, and a variety of other things I’d rather be doing. This is a you problem. Not a Blizzard problem.
I’m sitting on over 700k gold. Some people I know sold leather the first week and individually made over 2 million gold.

I was not trying to shame or gaslight you. I am just challenging your assumption that 200k-ish gold for a max ilvl Legendary is too much gold.

HOW THE HELL ARE PEOPLE DEFENDING THIS? IF YOU PAY THE WOW TOKEN EACH MONTH AND HAVE MORE THAN 50k GOLD AT TIME YOU PLAY TOO MUCH OR ARE LYING.

I have made 4 base legos so far
3 for my DH and 1 for my lock…cost me 0 gold to do so beyond the what 2.5k in vendor mats each…
I think 200k is a bit much but ultimately it’s up to the vendor costs. Get the materials yourself then.
I’m pretty sure you can reduce that by up to 20% by raising your rep with them to exalted.

Agreed i dont know why theyd give the player-base this much power when it comes to legendary items, the player-base shouldn’t be trusted with this type of system seeing as how greedy people are. Legions system was much better and fair.

its a player driven issue. go level a leather worker if you want to cut down the total cost to something like 3-5k
Yeah my LW is lvl 53 right now, it’ll be a while before she can make anything lol.
I figure if I can get her skinning though I might be able to get mats and reduce my costs a little.
