Legendaries cost too much to level up

or … 125g per Orboreal Shard that you need which will be much less. As everything else is gatherable and craftable.

Yes takes a while to skin them off of mobs, time is money

Should have had just one base rank and then the item itself is leveled other ways once it becomes a legendary. (Like pure soul ash or maybe soul ash and other craftable reagents).

What’s a Lego? I’m not familiar with this in-game slang.

they left aspect of the items to us, the players, we set the prices. Right now most people may not have rank 4 of every slot on hand to sell to you, its supply and demand and most people have been asking for something to make professions relevant again for some time, they gave us what we asked for.

What’s wrong with needing to earn gold to buy something made with the materials and time from other players invest in crafting that item?..

They are “legendaries”. Those “legendaries” are handed to you at the start of an expansion.

The costs are fine.

Legendaries take a while to max? :scream: who woulda thunk it.

Worry not the actual simmed performance when levelling isn’t a big deal. It’s more important to have your BiS available.

Soul ash and legendary items exist to try to Justify Torghast’s existence.
Since 99.9% of them don’t do anything, they are a worthless scam.

I just wanna know if you use someone else’s crafted base that’s a Higher Rank if it’ll replace your crafted by. I like having my legendaries say crafted by me.

I imagine it would.

Soooo many druid gather bots rare to find a node.

That’s a risk you choose to take by not vertically integrating (Skinning+LW etc.). The game literally suggests it in the newbie zones.

If you supply your own mats you spend more time but less money. Then you can choose to either sell the raw mats, or craft them and sell the products.

The strange part comes when the process of crafting provides a reward to the crafter beyond the finished product, such as skillups. Then it’s possible for the finished product to be worth less than the materials and still be worthwhile to craft more for people who still want the skillups, creating what appears to be a perma-flooded market.

It’s hard to think of a real-world example of this – it’s kind of like a byproduct, but byproducts can normally also be sold, which makes it more visible that the value of product + byproduct > value of raw materials.

Legendaries should cost like, 1/3 the cost they currently do. You should also be able to switch what legendary power you have active in them any time you visit the runebinder, as well as be able to change the stats on them with more missives.

The legendary system is absolutely awful.

Supply chain integration is fine, if you want to farm mats. Ive leveled my bs/mining to max saw the craft cap for the next leggo lvl and just said screw and bought the piece when the newer ranks came out and price tanked. Im not farming that much ore. And there is not point buying it to make 75 pieces of unsellable gear. Thats neg. roi to me

Im not sure if the level is per piece or all pieces either.

It’s only pay to win if you choose to which is a personal issue.

The cost is fine. They already made acquiring legendaries too easy.

Just another general forum thread asking for freebies.

All these people using wording like “investment” “WoW career” and “putting in work”
Brah, it’s a video game…

Yes and it’s not supposed to feel like work

It doesn’t. I crafted my level 1 then upgraded it with a level 2 bought off the AH, still says made by me.
