As the title states, after completing the Legend of Haranir on your first character of the week you are unable to obtain this quest again on any supplementary alts. This directly is affecting the ability to complete the “Midnight World Tour” quest you get from Lor’themar if you character had not completed it previously in Week 1 causing you to not be able to acquire the Spark for this quest.
It is my understanding it was giving extra rep or progress so there was a change made to it but having it disappear from being obtained on any alts is not the answer and needs to be looked into if it is not already.
Personally, I have 13 characters at max level and 8 of them have not completed the world tour quest last week which means 8 will be short a spark and subsequently each week I will only be able to progress one new singular “World Tour” quest a week , which means 8 weeks from now is when all of my characters will be able to have the quest completed.
Huge Oversight!

currently having this issue on my 4th alt. My main did it fine today. but my warrior cannot see the quest for legend of haranir badsyfyy A52
Same I have 2 alts with this problem. I was told there is no problem. Awesome.
I made the mistake of doing this weekly on an alt first, now my main cannot complete this weekly (or the rest of my alts).
I’m fine with no extra rep, but I still wanted to do the weekly to help with the achieve "Chronicler of the Haranir” and the extra gold.

yep. just hit max on my alt and did the weekly quest on my main just to progress it. Now i cant get the spark from world tour on my alt… one problem “solved” another created. every single time.

It has been changed with the the latest reset to once per account.
Just ran into this issue as well.
One step forward, two steps back. “fix” one thing that a small fraction of players were abusing, break it for 100% of players.

Its actually crazy… why not have a repeatable quest that lets you rerun one of the ones you have already done? Something to allow your alts to progress their world tour quest.

They just need to fix the World Tour quest to function like the Champion belt quest from Hara’ti was changed, to automatically grant credit if it’s been done at least once in the current reset.

If i am not mistaken, this was done on my alt already, so I could finish the weeekly.
“It is my understanding it was giving extra rep or progress so there was a change made to it but having it disappear from being obtained on any alts is not the answer and needs to be looked into if it is not already.”
In the same boat, alt now has the Midnight World Tour quest just sitting there waiting. Does this mean we are now effectively timegated to 1 alt per week for the meta quest. Blizzard definitely needs to look into a better solution.
no world tour for alts? no sparks? it seems like every fix needs a fix now..

I also just noticed I can’t do the legend of the haranir on alts, but I picked up the world tour quest on an alt and the legend of haranir portion was marked off as well as the abundance even though I didn’t do any abundance this week. I’m not sure if it’s based on whether the character individually completed it last week, though since I’m pretty sure I did the soiree last week on this character and it’s not marked off. I had forgotten to do the campaign skip and pick up the world tour.
This also is affecting my new L90 alts created after Legend of the Haranir has been completed by a character on my account for the week.
Suggestion for the Devs:
- Modify the Soridormi campaign skip to include auto-completion of the World Tour quest on alts (We need the spark!)
- Include a skip dialogue for this event, the Legend of the Haranir, to either the Legend selection NPC or add in another NPC for this purpose. The purpose of this dialogue would be to grant “completion” for alts if you do not wish to allow us to “skip” the World Tour on alts.
Thank you!
Yep, happening to me as well. I completed the weekly on my main and now my alts are unable to complete the Harandar portion of this questline and get their spark from the “Midnight, World Tour” quest.
I placed a ticket in an attempt to have it resolved directly and was basically told to go pound salt. This 100% needs a fix as soon as possible.
Having the same issue
Wish i knew this before I ran into it!
im currently on my 5th alt and i can’t talk to the npc. i also faction changed from alliance to horde on this one alt and i can’t speak to the npc in harandar. all my other alts have completed this quest already. idk how you can mess up a game so hard with all the money they got.
It looked like it was set up to be the weekly activity for that zone (like Soiree/Abundance/Stormarion). Disappointed if they don’t revert this
+1 bumping hoping for a fix
