Yes, Iām not a fan of leeway or batching either. But for me consistency is key. Canāt pick and choose.

Not me. I donāt want these changes. I want the game to PLAY as it did back then.
If you want changes go back to your pserver. I want the game I played back then and I want it to play as it did back then. If that means things need to be tweaked due to infrastructure and code - so be it. So long as it plays authentically.
I get it you donāt want an authentic experience but this is what weāve all been asking for and so far itās not there yet.
Go back to your pserver if you want these changes.

I hear you, I really do. I have been quite antagonistically #nochanges since day one.
But my worry is that the vast, vast majority of players are simply fickle. If it āfeelsā or āplaysā different then they will just jump ship and Classic will be a ghost town.
I donāt know about you but the only reason I play MMOs is because of the community. If there is no one to play with I might as well just load Skyrim back up.

I have copious amounts of alcohol. I donāt even have the coordination to type without auto correct, much less the dexterity to make a hat out of tin foil sir.
Iām quite confident that Blizzard is capable of adjusting leeway to match current average internet speedā¦ considering they did it in original vanilla. Iād be pretty surprised if they didnāt at least try at some point.

Spell Batching is beyond not working the way it did in Vanillaā¦

It is causing other issues with core game play mainly with Locks and Huntersā¦
If it cannot be fixed it needs to be removedā¦
Leeway is in the same boatā¦ something that was old and needed in 2004 but not needed in todays advanced level of technological gamer computers and internet speeds.

Iāll take #nochanges.
If they remove leeway and spell batching I fully expect them to touch up some of the clearly incomplete classes like paladin, shaman, and druid.
Ahh okay. Yeah I agree with the sentiment. Itās difficult for me to imagine why so many people think adjusting leeway is some impossible task. Itās a system designed to appeal to the average internet speed, we can just modernize the systemās average if it must stay.
