Are yall still getting leatherworking knowledge from the above lootables? I havent seen one from there in two weeks! Am I alone?
You can get 2 a week from packs/dirt from any crafting profession. 2 more from killing certain mobs.
Tama’s dragonflight helper weak aura will tell you what you are missing.
There is definitely some oddness about the pack/dirt drops. I had no issues with my LW this week (got the first from the first pack then the second maybe a couple later) but my Alchemist I think I found 20 dirts before getting the first one and I gave up before the second (Dirts very heavily farmed on Dalaran). No doubt just RNG strangeness and since I am foolishly doing the grind on 20+ crafters each week I’m bound to see some outliers.
I didnt get any for lw last week after looting > 100. This week I actually got 1. The other professions are working fine.
I did get one the other night, but it does feel rare… maybe more so than before?
there is a way. but a hunter and druid can skin them from creatures getting items.

I’ve been doing it on 8 of my toons and the drop rate for packs and dirt seems to be about the same for all professions for me. Nothing particularly different for LW on my end.

i can say for certain i just got one right before server restart. i am pretty sure i have gotten them prior but im not always paying attention to when im looting to be honest so i just randomly find them in my bags and dont always pay attention to if they are leatherworking or skinning.
