I play a ranged class to play ranged, not some weird tacked together amalgam of ranged and melee

For example, I’m looking at playing a hunter, as it was my favorite class when I started playing back in Wrath. But obviously I didn’t play a hunter in Vanilla. So if any of you can recommend good (safe) sites that have the best sort of guide for making and playing a hunter (or any other class) when Classic goes live, I’d be most appreciative.

You say you play ranged to play ranged but you are well aware that melee abilities was a thing way, way back in the old times

And as of current classic wotlk guides including a upcoming hardcore vanilla, meleeing is a thing

You’re telling me you were ok when you did meleeing as a hunter back in 2006-2008, and including classic vanilla/tbc/wotlk

But now isn’t an exception because retail?

Hunter melee has been a thing and blizzard just retintroduced it in Legion
