they aren’t real nor have any purpose or depth, it’s just a poor plot device. Unless you count yourself among the people that think every enemy mob you kill in the game has meaning in that case Lol.
I would argue losing Rhonin is a net positive, outside of that you lost basically a structure and jaina’s apprentice created to attempt to add emotional weight.
I’m actually running the opening campaign on a Worgen today. Wife has been making void elves so I made a DID recently and a Worgen today.
Not only is this character incredibly minor in the grand scheme of things but what is with worgen, a race that is their own mount, having such a fetish for riding horses and wagons everywhere?
Vanilla WoW started in year 25 of the WoW timeline. Worgen were introduced in Cataclysm which was year 28. The third war (where these people became Worgen) ended in year 21.
7 years of being their own mounts and they didn’t catch on? It’s now been 17 years and they still haven’t broken themselves of this literally silly habit?
“I’ve been chasing down horses for meat for 17 years but y’know what, it seems practical to use one as a mount still.”
They don’t have to evolve to get over it they just need to use common sense.
They nailed it and yet they would have nailed it without putting me on a horse or a wagon in between every single hub and a few times within them. This was not vital to the theme.
