If an expansion totally skipped themed sets in favor of mix-and-matchable more “plain” psuedosets like we had in Vanilla that wouldn’t hurt my feelings a bit.
Then show me the pudding then. I bet you dont even know 5 people who design things in game, let alone their “politically correct term” is.
Lots of overworld and questing sets need to come back. I still find myself astonished at how many unique pieces came out of TBC alone.
Even in Vanilla we had complete themed sets, but they were based on class instead of location. Didn’t stop them from making all kinds of cool little sets.
Sure thing. As I mentioned, play Hob. Then play Torchlight 1 and 2. Then play Allods/Rage of Mages. Then watch some videos on Wildstar since you can’t technically play that game any longer.
There’s a blue vrykul set that was never added with the red island set in BfA. Only the helm was added, but not the rest.
I’m all for sets. I’m just disappointed that all the leveling gear is just a recolor of the same ugly design.
I get why they do it. it’s a time saver. But at the risk of seeming ungrateful/entitled, I don’t like it
You want me to play OTHER games…?
And like I already knew, you have zero ideas about who actually makes designs in the game.
I wish the SotfO raid tier actually had some class color or flare to it. Some of the sets just don’t look ment for the class at all…
Where’s the nature look of druid or the demon look of warlocks? It all does look same color and meh.
I still like the new sets.
This, however, is so true. What a waste.
I really like my sepulcher set…but that’s mostly because the halo glows through shadowform…if it weren’t for that detail, it’s be pretty meh also
I dunno it’s just too much like the greens for the covenants…
Hopefully they remaster tier 2 in dragonflight.
Besides the CN mythic plate, we haven’t had great sets since Legion imho…
They won’t sadly I think some concept art was leaked for tier sets
Ya never know, the t6 remaster was the 2nd tier of legion…they could still surprise us
I just want armor sets that align with NPC’s.
Silver Hand / Argent Dawn set.
Lordaeron Set [We have the shield! Give us the rest!]
Noble Sets [With Ballgowns & Tuxes]
Vrykul-like Armor
Updates of past armor sets. [BWL/Molten Core]
Updated shirt models.
Heels, Stilletos, Thigh-High Boots
Revealing Mogs
Trench Coats / Long Coats
Dresses that end at the knees & thighs.
Fur hoods & Coats
Lot more Hoods [Both one’s around the neck, and the ones like the Priest set from BT/Tomb where it actually shields some of the face.]
Gear that perhaps is a bit more RP-ish looking, but you could find an everyday person wearing.
Kul’tiran NPC clothing.
Updated Civiliain-style clothing.
I have been incredibly disappointed with the transmog that’s been added pretty much the entire Shadowlands xpac. I really love the idea of class themed sets and had a lot of hope for the sets that were coming up but man were they still disappointing. I constantly am farming old tmog because I can’t stand any of the shadowlands gear. Might just be my personal opinion but I thought the antorus/ToS tmogs were some of the best I have ever seen in the game, they not only fit each class’ theme quite well but the majority are very unique and have beautiful bold/different colors. Just take a look at the shaman antorus mythic set and look at the one we have now for one example. The antorus set had so much detail, lots of 3D aspects to it and glowing effects as well. The one they added in recently is okay but not nearly enough time or effort was put into that set compared to the other one.
The concept art for the dragon isle tier sets look really cool and I hope they make it look as good in game as it does in the drawings. Would really like some cool cosmetics to farm or even look forward to.
thumbs are fingers. fingers arnt thumbs
Certainly not the tier for first up coming raid for 10.0 they were already leaked
Honestly I feel like part of the issue is xmog. As much as I and a lot of other people have liked it, it may be a part of the reason why armor set design has gone downhill, Blizz knows people will just mog to their favorite look so why put effort into a set when you know people will just mog over it. Now don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying remove xmog, far from it, just that I feel like it’s part of cause of the current armor set design issue.
I think that mail from the most recent raid looks really good and so does the Maw stuff.
