Lay down the Law NO BOOSTING (CARRY SELLING)

True but when Blizz started with all the esports crap it puts the pressure on. It’s probably much more time efficient to get gold from carries and buy what they need.

Achievements are the part that bother me the most, honestly. Gear is gear but achievements should be earned.

Nah boosting is fine, specially because it gets me a lot of gold.

And blizzard wont listen to the anti-boosting crowd…Ha-Ha!

Jump on classic right now, boosting for gold is and has always been apart of wow…

Dude. Blizzard offers $60 character boosts at the in-game shop. Do you really think they care?

Today not even your guild “mates” wants to help you for free, the state of this community is stupìd

If our achievements and achievement points actually meant something, I could agree with this.

Then why bother to post in a forum called a “discussion” forum, if you won’t discuss it?

And my own opinion is - Blizzard will boost you to cap if you give them money. So obviously they don’t find it a problem. And it’s certainly better to use ingame gold to do it than hand over money from your credit card.

And I don’t care if you disagree with me… :sunglasses:

He’s talking about carries I think. Not sure.

Either way, a person carried isn’t going to pass those that carried him. They will still need to put in an effort to get anywhere.

I think he’s talking about raid and dungeon boosting

Boosting is Boosting.

Why should it bother you how other players play their game or get their gear.
If it is done with in game gold then it is allowed.
To me I just don’t care if someone buys help to level or gear. Their game their choice.

Agreed!! 30 day ban for anyone who doesn’t do min DPS in group content too! NO CARRIES ZERO TOLERANCE!

The new wow profit equation that is keeping it a goldmine despite declining numbers is:

Token sales to get gold -> paid carries -> [Don’t ask where that gold ended up]

There will be an order of magnitude more paid carries in Shadowlands due to covenant restrictions that will affect casuals wanting to get gear but being unable to find groups. And now, even PvP gearing will be from paid carries by mythic raiders!

True. It is just my thoughts on the matter.

I know someone who has the Voidwing mount but when they don’t die in phase 1, they are pulling 28k dps.

Lots of people have that mount because they were carried by their guild. A carry is still a carry though.

I think the game would be better without all the boosting

M+ dropping 1 item

Less items = less upgrades in a run = buy more carries

Boosting should be a banable offense, it’s literally p2w.

Na.
Selling boosts is fun.

Want to earn something still? Go earn it. Nothing is stopping you from getting anything people are selling boosts for except maybe Gladiator.
