Eh, I’m very skeptical he got a permaban. He has literally said worse and gotten away with it. It’s probably another couple day suspension, and he’ll be back again to be an idiot.

If Erevien does create new accounts to try and get around bans, that’s against CoC. He could get a lifetime ban for that offence. He should get banned for being racist, but Blizzard mods sadly don’t see that as a problem here, but if you report racism on multiple characters under the same account… oh boy you better watch out forum mods don’t like that.

He’s literally already back on a Blood Elf hunter, it seems.

I read an interesting article (from the Motley Fool - I can’t link it) that described some reasons behind the sale of Activision/Blizz - that maybe it had less to do with Blizzard and the lawsuits, and more to do with Call of Duty bleeding activity. (I don’t know if the chart comes out well after being copied and pasted on my phone ) :

Activision 150 m 127 m 119 m 107 m
Blizzard 27 m 26 m 26 m 24 m

Basically Blizz was down a few million, but the rest of Activision was down almost 50 million.

The article mentioned that there is little in the near future for Activision/Blizz to look forward to that could raise the price, and this might be the best they would get for a long time.

I thought it was interesting anyway.

“Activision Blizzard’s fourth quarter shows how important the Microsoft buyout is for the company right now. With a lack of new games to drive growth in the near term, there was no reason for market participants to send the stock higher. In fact, analysts’ expectations for adjusted revenue to grow 6.8% in 2022 might have been on the generous side.”

“For embattled Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick, the deal looks like a stroke of legacy-building genius. The acquisition puts an exclamation point on three decades of market-thumping returns since he took over as CEO. A $1,000 investment 20 years ago would be worth $49,500 today.”

It was pretty hard for me to find that there was even a judge’s ruling on something. It was buried under Warren Buffet stuff.
