Kaivax likely got his facts mixed up as the official news page published by blizzard said “any difficulty.”

Then you haven’t seen recent LFR VKs.
The “yes” button gets almost permanently greyed out, you have to spam click the greyed out yes button for the half second it actually stays active for the kick to go through.

Yeah cause I stopped doing LFR because of how people laugh about people being AFK. It was a waste of my time. Why spend 2+ hours trying to go through LFR when I can speed clear normal in 1 hour.

I’m already capped on valorstones so fast with nothing to spend them on. Can’t upgrade my gear without the other stuff.
So you’re giving more of what I don’t need, yup, that’s a good choice.
The only ‘plus’ is I can shunt it to other toons which I don’t have time to play and frankly, just having them run through the hamsterwheel just to gear them is mathematically a waste of time.
I can simply wait for pre-patch and gear them faster and better then. You’re not giving real incentives here.
And for the record ad naseum, Blizzard. In all the years I’ve played, nothing enticed me into group play and after the few times I did M+ with a great guild, I still only joined them when they needed a body.
STOP forcing me to switch off auto-loot in a delve just to avoid your stupid idiotic non-deleteable keystones.
If you think what you’ve posted is great, just look at the majority of comments here, even from those who do the group stuff.
Because you can target a certain wing/boss faster if there’s a single item you wanted (in my case, the hearthstone which I finally got last week).
I already get champion gear from delves, normal would only be partially useful for the boots and trinkets.

Oh I wouldn’t even consider maxing out alts, using any methods. But if I did, I’d be damn sure to do my main to max first so I can have a discount on my other guys.
Too bad gilded discounts are almost impossible to get in a reasonable time frame.
How can it be Turbo boost… When we can’t even do the Turbo part. You’re boosting the ilvl of everything by 2 tracks. But give us the Turbo option day 1 of uncapped crests allow us to ascend!

Oct 7th is the 9th week of the season.
9 weeks x 90 gilded crests per week is 810 total gilded crests.
2H users who have 12 (not including cloak or crafted) mythic items starting between 707 - 714 (let’s average to 710) would need 720~ crests plus an additional 120 crests for 2 crafted items or a total of 840 crests to max their gear to current mythic track.
So simply put, on the week of “turbo boost” u won’t even be able to cap your current gear to non-turbo boost ilvl then alone gain anything from turbo boost. Again this is assuming fair or good conditions. If all your gear came from m+ vault slots at 707 and/or you’re a 1H class with 16 slots (-1 for the cloak) you would be “turbo” behind any such “boost”.
So why aren’t crests uncapped? What is the point of adding 2 upgrades to gear we can’t upgrade?

All you’re demonstrating is what I’ve been saying all along, that they messed up the implementation and had to correct their announcements after the fact. Kaivax wouldn’t have referred to normal difficulty as the lowest point of entry if it had always been LFR, since at that point it would have been misinformation rather than just a ‘mix up’. These are both first-hand sources, after all.
Not gonna lie… DF final season was better. At least you could get mythic track from dinars. Its the end of the season. Forcing people to have to kill later bosses in heroic gear is just a downgrade from then.
Why do you make a good thing and then ruin it? Ah right player retention for the “investors”. Customers? Whats that?

The official blizzard news article published on blizzard’s site was updated on 4/24 meaning that it was originally published before that date.
The only thing updated on that page, as stated at the top of the news article, is the quest information.
Meaning that the initial implementation included “any difficulty” and kaivax merely got his facts wrong.

then do tell how it is not the real reason… RMT went up dramatically in season 2 after the Turbo Boost event went live and again this season it is being redone. Coincidence, i think not.
