LFR is open to all players whether casual, hardcore, daily logger or weekend player.
It is pretty short sighted by BlizZard to assume that LFR is just for casuals, and that people that will do LFR will be nudged into normal raids.
They tried that for PVP in systemlands with no conquest gear obtainable through unrated instanced PVP and that didn’t change anyone’s mind really.
BlizZard has a bad habit trying to engineer player habits with very forced changes. I think given the age of the game and average age of the WoW player I think it is hurts them more than offers some glimmer of success.
You can probably pull that stunt off with younger player base that is 18-24 age brackets but the average WoW gamer is probably closer to mid 30s now.
