I like how people are using some vague claim that they’ve figured the class out “but I also looked up a guide” (meaning they copy/pasted an import code and messed around with the abilities) as an excuse for a mediocre at best tutorialization of the class.

For all you know, homeboy does better on this class than you do, and is just frustrated with the experience. :person_shrugging:

Just don’t complain too hard… I really don’t want to go back to the stupid “talent” box with 6 tiers of three choices. Some mighty dirty words were heard in my house when that mess came out… can’t believe Bliz took three of my skills and made me choose only one… grumble grumble

The starting Evoker Experience was PERFECTION~

I hope this is the path Blizzard continues to take going forward, if you want your hand held at all times go to wowhead for builds and rotations to play your class

blizz made the starting zone simple, it was a little rougher in early beta.

What was perfection about it? I loved it. When they taught soar and fire breath
…

The rest?

Still being worked on?

When has Blizzard EVER offered an in-game primer on what talents to take (indeed, the new feature in DF is by far the most they have ever done)?? But let’s just take the first 10 minutes of the intro area. First action teaches you how to Glide. Next area show you how to use your baseline damage abilities. When you get outside, it introduces you to empowered abilities and literally has mob placement designed to have you practice it as an AoE ability. Need we go on further??

I am talking about new players man! Not peeps like us that know better! Get real, you know what i meant! I did not have to do ANY research when i created a DK or a DH back in the day, it was WAY more informative back then!!!

Nope this was different. I get it. They don’t offer in-game guides to classes.

But this?

Nah. They didn’t do anything.

People are literally complaining over peanut butter and jelly sandwiches in here.

Those two abilities have unique functions which it makes sense theyd teach you how they work, the rest are just different animated versions of filler stuff you do on all classes anyways ! Or do you really think they should teach us to spam ice claw ?

:dizzy: :rabbit:

It all depends on the jelly.

There is ONE quest in the DK starting area that teaches you about your abilities (having to use the Anti-Magic Zone in the basement). Literally nothing else tells you a thing.

GL in DF when a new crop of Evokers come along, and are in your dungeons! Right out of the box with DK, and DH i was a power house without having to go to a 3rd party site to figure out WTH to do with my new class!

The first quest you do literally teaches you how to use Runeforging.

It doesn’t even matter. They don’t start at level 60.

More than one thing can exist at once. I can be terrible at my class and he can be terrible at figuring out basic simple MMO class features. The tutorial can be mediocre and people can still use an imported build. The only point I made was I was personally sick of the clear inability for some of these forum posters to figure out class mechanics because they weren’t given bullet proof guidance from a mediocre tutorial. Don’t limit yourself to just one thing. Anything else you want to share? :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Lmao.

I can figure all this out.

They don’t teach you the class mechanics lmao.
