I do agree with this. DK and DH starting zones do a marginally better job of walking you through the class. It feels like for Evoker they didn’t really know how to proceed with that kind of experience because of the talent trees, or something.
Yeah it is fine.
I took my evoker into Uldaman with the starter devastation spec and did all right for not knowing the class or the dungeon.
The game doesn’t have to hold your hand the whole way.

Dk starting zone taught you nothing about how to use your actaul class abilitys its the EXACT same thing as evoker.
DH is the only one that kinda teaches you

No they gave us talent points over time during the dk release because that was our progression system.
For the evoker class. They taught us how to hold down and button and how to use our soar racial.
The rest of it was trash.
Sorry you disagree here. But I’m at a loss this ever passed beta.
0 effort on blizzard end.
Honestly they should also make you type “I have a brain” because some people here acting like they attempting to get their Doctoral degree with this class.

Do you mean in modern WoW, or on DK release?
As am I.
But I’ve played WoW for 18 years now & there is no shortage of people that are awful at the game. I see Paladins who don’t even use consecration off CD while doing AOE pulls & lose aggro all over.
You’re going to have a lot of people who play this class & are going to be awful. I can already see people being really bad at using this healer in M+ content.
No one knew how to play DH, Monk or DK for the first few weeks of their expansions either

You would be incorrect, then. Even if you just want to count point for point, DK zone teaches more about DK than Evoker’s does Evoker.
Seriously, it’s okay to critique the zone, or even meet peoples’ concerns halfway.

I just played through it in Classic. And back when it was current. I didn’t learn squat from anyone.

i mean i picked this class up and just made a build and when i got confused i looked up a build and what not.
the resources are there. if vet players ether cant use those or wont use those than its not blizzard fault its there fault
I love this game. But this isn’t going to get a pass for me sorry. That was such a sad introduction.
