Probably the loosest of scenarios, but I can think of a Prem of Piety → Divine Word → HW: Sanc → Guardian Spirit → HW Serenity on someone in there for silly spreading overheal.
But yeah, it’s more for fun than serious raiding. In any case, thank you for answering my questions.
Even with maximum usage of Insight/Piety it’s impossible to dish out 16-20 mil healing unless you’re just massively overhauling with raid healing cds. Also, you have to be non-stop casting for those 15s compared to Archon who just pushes Halo.
Halo is also available every minute which makes it easy to slot in a spreadsheet for raid healing cds. With Oracle it’s a lot more work to line everything up.
Oracle in raid I think would see less use just because it’s really easy to coordinate/plan Halo. Oracle basically has to rely on stronger passive healing (more PoMs, timing CDs with Piety). It also has just a significantly weaker moment with every Solace.
Well either way this is the end of the DF expansion which I think was the better expansions in recent times. I just hope we get some forward progress on Holy like throughout most of DF until the S3 tier set bonus came into focus.
I leveled to 80 and have been doing some normal dungeons. Some of them are pretty rough to heal because people are pulling the entire hallways. I get no time to dps just non-stop heals.
I’ve been playing around with Archon and I honestly like how it plays in the dungeons. It’s not as versatile as Oracle, but it’s pretty straightforward on what it does.
Halo is my #3 heal after Flash Heal and PoM. It helps in light healing situations and also for countering the pulsing AOE stuff.
After Holy Fire and Burning Vehemence, Halo is my top dps ability. It’s about 18% of my overall so Oracle definitely beats Archon in just raw dps by about 7-8%.
With the extended +6s duration Apotheosis it’s pretty nice. It really just lets you lay out a lot of extra healing.
