No it’s probably (hopefully) just a bug.
Not only that but for my Horde neighborhood, it’s one we just had. And while Alliance changed, it’s still one we recently had, but there are endeavors I haven’t seen on either.

12.1.0 will probably force everyone to the special Amani Troll endeavor at launch.

I can’t get in game right now to see, but if 153 days is the time shown for the new endeavor, I’m guessing that it’s a placeholder and that the endeavor will end at the release of the new patch. It’s likely that once they announce the patch release date, the endeavor time remaining will update to reflect the release date.

Are we seriously not getting another endeavor until at least December??
Not only that, but check your XP. Mine used to say 16337/15750 to implicate that I had stocked up on XP to take me into Level 10. Now, it just says simply 16337. Will it actually carry over? I hope so. My concern is if this is about halting any hyper-farming for XP it might cap how much we can farm.

I saw the 153 days and just groaned. Also, the Alliance one is one we JUST completed (Mechagon), and now we have it again. Blech. Why can we get something we have never seen, or perhaps the Blood Elf one? Mechagon and the gadgets & gizmos is simply not my decorating vibe.
Prolly fine I’m at 19k. If anything, to get lvl 10 you’ll need 30k house xp

They really should fix it so that the public ones can’t get the same one 2 months in a row.
At least Mechagon is a pretty easy one to grind out the Good Neighbor stuff.
I just checked my charter neighborhood discord and it looks like we’re doing the Blood Elf one so if you need any of that decor you can visit my Ally neighborhood. My charter neighborhood usually completes the Endeavor pretty quickly too.
My guild is a bit more lax on the endeavor picking so I put a reminder in the discord and the guild leader will throw up a quick poll to pick something.

Remember, I am the Village Idiot - how do we do the Mechagon Dungeons? We are supposed to kill this boss and that boss, who only appear in the dungeons? Do we just go in the dungeon entrances? And, are the dungeons soloable? If they are tuned as high as Mechagon is tuned for the endeavor, then they are not do-able, are they?
Sorry for hijacking the thread, OP.
I don’t know actually - all I do is the stuff in the neighborhood for Mechagon. Find the big mech wandering around and clean up oil spills gives you lots of neighbor points.
I also like bring the mechanical chickens back to the town center. You can’t mount up while carrying chickens but you can carry three at once and you can use the barrels that shoot you into the area to travel more quickly and carrying chickens also lets you ‘steer’ while flying through the air. I stacked up a lot of Good Neighbor, barrel bounces, and chicken returns with that endeavor.
Additionally, I switched to my other neighborhood’s endeavor and did the oil clean ups for stacking up Good Neighbor for my other neighborhood. (I think that still works? It was a couple of months ago.)

Heh I also love the chicken gathering! I always go for the ones at the top of that hill/rocky outcropping with the tower on top and then use the jet thingy to land right in the circle in one go.
The oil is also nice for making the good neighbor task more bearable.

The oil clean up is one I do and always look for, and the same for the chickens. I used to do the barrel jet jumps, but they started to really hurt me, so I stopped.

Came here to make sure I was not the only one that got this. I can make a good run at ~23k housing exp before late Aug but this 150-day thing would put a serious damper in that.
My guild picked the worst one too
