Wondering if anybody else is experiencing this or has any ideas. It doesn’t happen often but maybe every week or two my mac when alt-tabbing out of WoW (e.g. browsing while using a flight point.) It lasts anywhere from 15-45 seconds and kicks back in. No cursor movement during this time. A restart will fix the issue but it’s a pain to restart in the middle of a dungeon or raid. Any thoughts?
If you still have this issue, the next time it happens, open /Applications/Utilities/Activity Monitor and check the Memory tab. If you are seeing compressed RAM greater and/or especially swap greater than zero, you’re running out of RAM and need to prioritize what you run when WoW is active. Either that or get more RAM to add to or replace what you have now.
