Soon as prepatch drops the rank grind is over.
The final day, hard to say but you wouldn’t think they would gyp the last shot at R14, but who knows.
Anybody from Blizz want to chime in on this? A bunch of my friends are wondering the same thing. Will we get our last week’s calculated RP? I wil be r10 by then along with one of my friends, but if it’s not calculated then we’d be screwed and most importantly I don’t want to waste a week of my life grinding when it won’t count. Would love to know…

June 1st would make it 2 weeks of prepatch.
Yeah at best case. Hope that last week counts for folks!
I don’t trust leaks that could just photoshop but it’s possible. Hopefully things are actually announced properly in the next few days if this is real.

So now that May 18th is confirmed for the pre-patch, can we get a confirmation on whether or not the current week is the last week that will count towards new ranks?

Why would it not? Extended maintenance. Honor is snapshotted when the servers go down.
Looking for an answer to this as well, no point in grinding out the last week if we don’t at least get the title for it. Would like my life back a week earlier if I can get it

I knew I should have started ranking when I gained 2 ranks (Sergent Major to Knight Lt.) just by doing 1 AV. Thanks to all those lvl 1s flooding the brackets.
Now that the waters have receded it’s a PITA to get into the upper brackets if doing less than 10hrs a day of PVP.
I did 1200hks 50% more than the previous week last week…I didn’t even rank out of Knight Cap.
Wanted Lt Commander…would really love a definitive answer next or this is last week of ranking?
A GM pointed me here to answer my question regarding the last week to rank. In summary - If I hit a new rank on patch day, does that rank count, and would we be able to buy the rewards before the 3PM patch… Is there a definitive answer I am missing in here?

I also opened a ticket and asked the same question. The GM said they don’t know and to check the forum.
As of yet there is no answer.

Heya. we have a couple threads made about this already once the pre patch was announced yesterday. In 2006, pre patch day had one last honor calculation applied, so we’re hoping this one will as well. Hopefully blizzard takes this into consideration and gives us an official answer soon.

Ideally Blizzard would do the following:
- Take the servers down for maintenance
- Run the script for honor calculations
- Run the script for Classic/TBC Era snapshots.
- Apply the patch and finish maintenance
- Let everyone enjoy the pre-patch (including our new titles!)
