i finished the chapter 8 well but i cant accest to chapter 9 and im renow 23, i cant finish the campaign

Go to the Ember Ward and do the Laurent quest chain there. Once you have completed that small chain, Renethal will have the chapter 9 quest.

I swapped from Kyryan to Venthyr, five days ago, after 6 or 7 weeks being part of Bastion (before swap, I was renown 21, 8/9). So, I checked my quests using wowhead quest tracker. I did everything, completed the Laurent quest chain. I’m 23 renown level, today I finished the storyline (didn’t see and watch the kael’thas cinematic, idk why, after completing the last quest of the last chapter of the campaign). I checked everything, this week the level cap is 24 and I’m 23. So the only thing i need to do, is “restart” the first chapter 1 (Sinfall), specially the mission “Souls for Sinfall” (if you complete this quest, you’ll have the venthry gloves and 1 level renown). So, in simple words:

  • Chapter 1: Sinfall -> Incomplete (no green ticket)
  • No gloves and 1 level renown from the mission “Souls for Sinfall” (Wowhead quest tracker, marks this quest as incomplete and I DID this quest, but idk)
  • Renown level today (January 15th): 23.
  • Laurent quest? Did it all, quest by quest.

I want to cry :frowning:

i dont know why but it says that i have to do that laurent thing but theres no mark or quest there to start that part

Laurent isn’t considered a campaign quest and you have to go into the Ember Ward to find him and complete his entire chain of quests to get the campaign quest to pop. If you unlock the mirror network, then you get a quest to go save him, but otherwise, you have to save him to get the final chapter of the covenant campaign anyways.

I got the mount and got to get my weapon. I completed the Venthyr campaign and got the achievement also…but it still says Chapter 8/9…Only wording that is not green is “Sinfall”…is this a bug?

litterally the quest log says rescue laurent form the ember ward to continue the campaignt, but it doesnt show you where is laurent

Which is why I stated that you have to go find him and that it isn’t considered a campaign quest, but you have to do his entire chain to unlock the final chapter.

Were you able to find a solution to this? I had the same problem just now, but went and did a mirror quest where you have to repair a mirror and suddenly the last chapter was available. The guy who I helped was needed to repair the mirror that you use in chapter 9.

I just encountered this exact scenario on my Tauren Paladin. Is there any update on the status of your character?

Did you go and find Laurent and do the chain associated with him to unlock chapter 9?

to finish the venthyr campaign you must take the "Mirror of Maldraxxus " quest from prince Ranathal
Unfortunalety if the prince have a daily quest …the mark is not apper
Sow go and search if have this quest
