Large Undocumented Changes Should Not Happen

As soon as I heard “Don’t you have phones!!??” I stopped caring about anything Blizzard anymore. I’m just here for the humor.

Yup, a load of “hidden” changes so far in 8.1. And as a surprise to no one most of them are unfavorable for players.

At that point you have to ask if that was intentional. Probably. Given with everything else they are pulling

It seems Blizzard have made the decision on the choice between what is right and what is easy. They have seemingly chosen poorly.

It’s like being in an abusive relationship. He says he loves me. He says he’ll try harder next time. I, obviously, deserved what I got. That was on me. It’s just I love him soooooooo much. And he loves me.

Does it? Not really. People aren’t asking for much. Just document your changes, no matter how little or how big. It’s not hard.

Yeah, the reason for the error was very… human.

“We made the change months ago, really early in the process, and forgot about it.”

Blizzard is a titan in terms of software developers… how do they possibly not have systems in place designed to prevent exactly this situation from happening. Full stop.

Something like “We forgot about it” should never happen. That is unbelievable incompetence.

It’s entirely possible if their priorities were repeatedly changed on them by management or by a client in general and the often secondary job of documentation was abandoned.
