It depends on what the op wants, there are a lot of great gaming laptops that run games that require a lot more than WoW does. Wow is on the lower end of the spectrum as far as pc requirements go.
Not wrong. A whole lot of people think of a $200 pos from Walmart when they think of a laptop.
There ARE plenty of laptops that can run WoW fine, and there ARE laptops that are almost just as good as a desktop with the same specs (cooling could just be an issue) but there are quite a lot of laptops that would deliver a terrible experience. Quite a lot of desktops that would too, for that matter. It all depends on the individual machine.
Just make sure the thing has dedicated graphics of some sort and a half decent processor. WoW isn’t super demanding but I imagine you play other things too.
What’s your budget, anyway? Easier to make recommendations that way.
I have a gaming laptop for portability.
nope
I strongly advise against getting a ‘gaming’ laptop. As usually that’s just marketing jargon that doesn’t hold true.
Get a desktop.
I said most…congrats on your 2500 dollar laptop…most noobs have normal laptops which won’t work
It was 1450
If you see yourself traveling to other locations to play games on PC then I’d recommend the laptop. My first gaming machine was s laptop and usually once a week I go to friend’s places to play.
Other than that I’d just go for the home PC.
