Lag/latency while running dungeons/raids

Hope I am posting this question in the right area. Is anyone else having issues with lag this evening? Particularly in mythics or raids?

I ran some mythics this evenings and I, along with a few other players in the group, were experiencing terrible lag! And it only seems to be when I’m in a dungeon: it’s fine when I’m questing or idle in town.

My home and world latency are currently hovering around the 70 ms range. Yet the moment I enter an instance, it spikes up to 100-300ms home latency!
It seems to go in spikes, then settled down. But it’s an inconvenience when you’re lagging on a key and cannot react fast enough or die because you’re lagging!
My key has dropped three times due to latency issues…not really happy about that

I tried everything from power cycling, restarting the game, checking my drivers- nothing. My pc is brand new, barely a month old. And I have high speed internet (Comcast).

Any feedback is very welcome. I like to enjoy some gaming while I have a long weekend off from work

its happening on Tichondrius my guildies are having issues as well.

Was happening to us on Hyjal as well in heroic SoD and to some mates in keys tonight after raid between 7pst and 11pst. Night before as well.

Widespread issue with Blizzards Data center/Routing Servers that is yet to be directly addressed.

Its there peering which is their issue.

Yeah, I’m reading the forums- apparently it’s an issue on Blizz’s end. Any word on if/when it’s going to be addressed? I was going to hop on this evening and play some more, but it seems like a moot point if the majority of the playerbase is having issues

This is misinformation.

Those nodes always ignore pings, that is how they are designed. If you see the latency drop immediately after, it’s clearly not lagging right before that.
