Wyldmike,Can you describe the lag in a bit more detail? If you hover your mouse over the computer button at the bottom of the game it will give you Latency and FPS readings. What are you seeing there?Inkwell,Try typing the following while on the affected characters:/run SetCVar("raidFramesDisplayIncomingHeals",1)/console reloadui
Worked for me so far!
This worked! please try it!
On my Hunter and other characters I will hover around 70-90fps. However, when on my warrior I will hover around 12 fps.
Now to be clear, these issues on my warrior are only in the newest patch 5.4 content. Inside the instance and on the Timeless Isle. My whole screen becomes extremely choppy where it is absolutely unplayable.
Mods: I have tried playing my warrior with no mods at all and still have the same issues with latency fps. I still get the same unplayable choppiness.
I've also tried the suggested remedies listed above in this thread and still have the same issue.
Attention Blizzard: Please help us with this. If this many of your customers are having the same issues, the problem cannot be simply on our end.
Thank you.
This is the setup for my rig:
GPU: GeForce GTX 670
CPU: Intel Core i7-3770k @3.50GHz
Memory: 16GB
Resolution: 1920x1080, 59Hz
Operating System: Windows 8
All drivers are up to date as well as all my addons. The day i installed wowo on this comp it ran fine, on my warlock, but it seems the more and more time i play on him the worse and worse this problem seems to get. Any help would be great since it seems there is a lot of people with this same problem and nobody is taking the time to help figure it out for us. Ty in advance from a very frustrated lock.
Blizzard are you there? can you assist?
The other issue only happens on my Druid like the OP. It's when I change forms and my action bars swap. I get a quick one second FPS drop of about 10 that causes my game to stutter.
I'm going to just assume that this is WoWs dated engine and pretty much everyone has these issues.
I have turned off addons, i have deleted caches, updated drivers, made sure its not a cpu usage issue...i am at a loss.
Let's get the game back to the default settings. You can do that temporarily and not lose any customization you've done.
With the game closed please rename your WTF folder to WTF.bak and INTERFACE
folder to INTERFACE.bak. Delete the Cache folder entirely. These hold setting info and temporary cache files that will be recreated by the game the next time you launch. Renaming them allows you to rename them back later if this step doesn't resolve anything.
NOTE: Please also make sure to remove any and all addon auto-installers or auto-updaters you may have, as those can automatically reinstall addons for you, possibly causing further issues.
Now start the game up again and see if the issue is still there.
I’m having the same problem with my worgen druid, i even deleted the character and remade it in hopes the problem would go away but that didn’t work. I have 2 other characters on the same server but this only occurs when i create a worgen druid. When i cast a spell there’s a delay in when the bar begins filling up and when it is filled up there’s the same delay before the spell is actually casted. There’s also about a 3 second delay in auto looting, accepeting as well as completing quests. I know it’s not because of my internet speed since it literaly happens with no other character even when i’m in high pop areas like Stormwind yet there’s a delay in just about everything in the starting area in Gilneas as a level 1 worgen. Please help me fix
