You mean MORE RNG didn’t fix the issue??? Unbelievable!
Or, OR, now just hear me out on this one… Blizzard could make actually ENTERTAINING , engaging, and large amounts of content that lasts several weeks to play through, a la classic, so that we WANT to stay in game and keep playing and enjoying it. You know, just putting that out there.

People were already doing that anyway and have been since Legion…that don’t do M+.
If you nerf the ilvls, it kills it the same way…and they did that plus lowering droprates.
Nvm, just do RBG, you will have a bunch of gears.
This is where I’m stuck. I’m at a point where the only real thing I’m getting out of M+ is the +15 achieve/mount and a lot of aggravation. I have a couple of slots I can get minor upgrades from, but honestly, it’s a lot of effort for 6 pieces of gear (2 of which are weapons and we know they never drop) which are about +10 ilvls per piece (and that’s only if gear drops in the 15’s).
As for alts, I log them on and I feel completely and utterly devoid of any motivation to do anythinng on them because the gear drop rate is so garbage, I just can’t be bothered.
Blizzard really sucked the fun out of doing keys. Don’t even get me started on raiding. I’ve cleared normal and working heroic and the only drop I got from heroic was a downgrade that went to a guildie. Heroic raiding drops better gear, less of it, and is easier than M+, which makes ZERO sense. Heroic raiding is basically the welfare epics of the game right now, and keys, which are much more difficult, give you nothing.
Game is broken.

I mean, you dont think they are trying to do a good job? Of course they want you to be having fun while they increase your playtime to its maximum. Some people would say they are doing an amazing job. /shrug
The gear isn’t the only issue.
Even when I do get gear upgrades, it feels like it barely changes anything. Granted, it may be because I’m a Frost Mage, but still… 20 ilvl upgrade with good stats? Game’s like I can give you 50 extra dps, at best.
50 extra dps. Out of… a 3-4k dps single-target average. Barely a noticeable upgrade, if at all.
All the work to get “better” gear that doesn’t really change much. So not only do the loot drops suck, but when you DO get gear, it doesn’t change much or get you anywhere much further than where you started.
It feels bad, man.
