Kul Tirans: What A Disappointment

If I remember correctly draeni have pretty bad racials besides the healing one. The void elf’s also have that useless teleport. Lightforge have an anvil that can’t smelt and their other racials don’t do anything. So kultirans don’t have the worst

After more testing, I have found some errors in my post.

I was able to knockback with Haymaker and get Brush it off to stack in PVP. In PVE I have not been able to get the same results though, maybe if I pull more Mobs.

I will edit my post to reflect this.

Draenei increases your primary stat by a %…plus the HoT is pretty nice.

Lightforged have an AOE attack with pretty good damage (agree not the greatest)

Void elves have a passive “trinket proc” and no casting knock back. Theirs are actually considered really strong.

Of your examples, I would say Light Forged is the closest to being as bad.

Humans have a better version of the passive (except with secondary stats) as well as a stun break
Voidelfs don’t have knock back protection, their cast times just can’t be lengthened by damage
Lightforged has 2 aoes but one is by dying and the other doesn’t do much
(I keep hitting the reply button on the bottom of comments but it isn’t replying to the comment, it’s just making it genreal)

Preternatural Calm is a passive [racial ability]) for all [void elves], removing cast delays from taking damage.”

Perhaps casting knock back was the wrong way for me to describe it. But still, Void Elfs are the only race in the game with that protection.

Wonder if this was intentional by the devs to make fun of the alliance again.

It is unique to them, but it only saves you fractions of a second at most. They can still be spell blocked as well

also the animations while running, jumping or casting are so weird for male kultirans…

clearly not only their development on giving them racials are incredible wrong and bad but the rest doesnt seem finished at all.

Who cares about the racials seriously. Only those PvP’ing I imagine.

No, it doesn’t.

I was able to get it to work after a few tries. I’m not sure what the issue is. Maybe range or it has a chance to miss?

You mean useful? Knockbacks are pretty valuable in M+ especially :woman_shrugging:

Actually probably will be useful since we’re going underwater in 8.2 right? I also recall a number of dungeons (including Shrine currently) that have you swimming through underwater areas

Pretty standard, plenty of races have this sort of insignificant damage reduction to specific damage types

I don’t know how much healing Brush it Off equates to in practice, so can’t really comment there

Overall though? KT racials look fine to me. Haymaker alone is a pretty powerful racial, especially in a world where knockbacks and stuns have been toned back

I really didn’t care about racials until I made a dark iron dwarf. Fireblood and mole machine are both incredible. Especially with the portal removals.

I mean, okay but thats on you choosing to ignore a racial. Is there literally any other way a Mage can apply a Stun? I can’t think of one.

I guess it could be good for mages, but being short range, avoidable, and having a 1 second cast time makes me wonder how effective it will be in practice.

From scratch? Dude KT are PANDAS.
Even the damn casting is the same.

I see a lot of people defending kultirans, some bashing them, but I don’t see a single person posting on one. :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

This should say something in and of itself.

My KT hides in his parents basement and trolls the internet.

um 1% versatility is a flat 1% damage increase.

That’s pretty overpowered
