Kul Tirans: Nix Shamans, add Paladin and Mage

Nope

Currently she is the only mage within Kul Tiran society.

The ashvane company had tons of mages that weren't part of her pirate club.

The third boss in Tol'Dagor is a fire mage, who is part of the Ashvane company.

Sure she is a villain, but it is an example of mages within Kul'Tiran society.
As a professional Mage, I got more of a shaman vibe from Tidesages even though they wear cloth.
I'm surprised Kul Tirans have Priests.

3. Dazar'alor Kul Tiran boss is using a Phoenix, which to me sounds as if he is able to bind a spirit to his service. Which sounds like the Goblin's way of Shamanism.

So by this logic, Kael'thas is a shaman and not a mage, since he also summons Phoenixes?

Knowing that Kul Tiran cannot be Mages thus far? It's all I can come up with.

Kael'thas, however, is a Mage. That is tried & true. Don't try to misconstrue my words. Also, he doesn't "summon Phoenix's". He very clearly has real lore Phoenix's in his employ, or under his thumb. Conjuring them or otherwise is not something he did at all.
If they can swing the light as a priest and use two handed weapons as warrior they're basically paladins. Give us paladin god dangit

Read the description of the boss:

Manceroy Flamefist: Fire mage who uses the powers of fire to attack his enemies.

And the Phoenix? It's a fire mage spell.

Tide Sages always struck me as something like "Ocean Priests", really.
Tide Sages are described as a priesthood. They are not shamans.

I say replace priest with mage.

There are very little evidence showing that Kul'tirans worship the light. Their main religion is worshiping the tide mother.

There are several trash mobs and bosses in Kul'tiras that are mages. 3rd boss in Tol'Dagor for example.

A big part of Ocean Worship comes tied in with Void shenanigans, which is right up Priest's ally.

Jaina is a Dalaran mage.

fixed it for you.

All of you drones saying this are obviously missing the point

She, a Kul'tiran, was taught to be a mage. So were multiple other Kul'tirans.

It doesn't matter if she learned magic in Dalaran. She still learned it, and she's from Kul'tiras.

She's a Kul'tiran mage.
Blizzard seriously why no mages and why 10 options for horde and 7 for alliance. If you don t want to show bias why are you doing this?

Kul Tirans getting druids is weird, but the Drustvar association feels earned.

None of that groundwork is there for them to be Shamans. Don't cut corners now.

No mages? Jaina is a Kul Tiran, and a mage. Dalaran training, yadda yadda, Kul Tirans can still be taught how to be mages. What's the rationale for not getting paladins?

Really nonsensical choices.

Something tells me you werent paying attention to the horde campaign regarding the risen tidesages. They make perfect shamans. They did not show a paladin order, kul tirans split from the alliance. I think they should get mages cause more primal races have access to mages but I wonder about paladins. They are still human though.

Look up Thomas Zelling. He says tidesages have control over the elements in the horde campaign. He is an undead kultiran tidesage. Basically the first horde undead shaman. There are also undead shaman in Naxxramas using totems
According to the recap of the What's Next Panel they have Warlock for Zandalari and Mage for Kul Tiran.

https://worldofwarcraft.com/en-us/news/22646758/world-of-warcraft-what-s-next-panel-recap

I'm not sure what information from which source is correct at this point. During the panel Warlock were listed for Zanalari on the slide, but it's not listed on the Allied race page for them. No Mage for Kul Tiran on the slide nor on the Allied Race page. And yet listed in the recap posted by Blizz after the panel they have mage for Kul Tiran and Warlock for Zandalari. Which one am I supposed to be taking as gospel here?

Tidesages = Shaman

Tidesages are more like Mages withs Water Elemental.
just add mages an it will be good okay?

paladins would make no sense for them to have...
if taurens and trolls can be paladins (lol)...... then why cant thicc humans be aswell?
Yes to mages, but no need for paladins.

I think we are going to have to beg for it like we did for Zandalari paladins; so then it would look like "they are listening" (when really it was planned all along).

Shamans do not control elements. They commune with elemental spirits, who in return grant them the power to wield it. The way tidesages use water and wind is no different than the way a mage uses frost, fire, or the arcane.

What are these Undead shaman in Naxx?
