⚓ Kul Tiran PC is inconsistent with Kul Tirans in lore

Its literally no extra work. The normal human models already exist and the skinny ones are just reskinned female undead.

Wrong. I thought so as well. But I was also wrong. Here’s the conversation with Ulfar:

You’re a Drust? Wasn’t there a war against them?

Indeed I am. Not all of my people agreed with the conflict. Have you never seen division among your own?

We Thornspeakers joined Kul Tiran society. Some of their descendants heard the call of the wilds and wished to learn the ancient ways, and so we have taught them.

Congrats. You broke the code for “how every single AR is made”.

That has nothing to do with body size.

Ulfar is Drust, not Kul Tiran. He’s survived from the ancient war between Drust and Kul Tiran.

Then they should get rid of every single skinny Kul Tiran in the game since apparently they are heresy incarnate to you guys.

First of all, I wasn’t even speaking to you.

Secondly, yes it does. Drust were some type of larger race. They integrated into KT society and life. Those born of Drust and KT blood are why there are giant sized humans and why they can be druids. Ulfar explained this. They’re larger than Nelfs and Trolls and three times bigger than a human.

… I know. Did you even read what I posted? :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

From what I have read, we are getting an option of thick or skinny bodies on the Kul Tirans is this not true?

No, on the PTR its just the fat ones.

So if this is your way of explaining why some Kul Tirans are larger than others, why did Blizzard make most of the Kul Tirans average-sized?

I would assume its because Drust-blooded humans are more rare.

Dude, do you know the lore at all? Have you read any of my posts? :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

KT are Gilneans who sailed to the island and settled there. Some Drust didn’t believe in the conflict. They integrated into life with the KT. There’s now some that are Drust-born, for lack of a better term.

Why do you think I’ve been saying that Blizz screwed themselves trying to turn this “race” into an AR? They couldn’t turn Jaina into a giant chick. So they had to go with “most KT are normal humans, but here have a human druid AR out of a partial race,” instead of “a thousand years have passed and the Drust blood has made them all stronger and different.”

Blame Jaina.

your points dont make sense. They literally have to do nothing beyond add a body size tab in the character creation panel. The base human model needs no additional work. It is already fully ready for use.

And they’re not giving you the exact same model, with absolutely zero differences, as a second race. It’s why Worgen are usually in Worgen form.

I don’t see why not. Why do they have to be different? Why is there this perceived need by many players that every race must look different?

The Gilneans are shown to be primarily cursed and have the Worgen form. There’s like, three notable Gilneans in the game who don’t have a Worgen form.

The Kul Tirans are shown to be primarily the same size as other humans.

Seriously. Just look at your character for example. Put him in front of me and I cant magically tell that you’re Mag’har and not a normal orc. Your skin is brown (maybe) but thats not some huge difference thats really all that noticeable, especially when you wear armor.

not even that. In darkshore there are arguably more uncursed gilnean soldiers than worgen ones.

Sure a lot of it comes down to randomness but a majority of the troop packs seem to have more normal gilneans.

exactly. The only bit of skin that shows in this armor is a small part of the back of my neck. To even see it you have to be looking slightly downwards from behind.

No way.

The only uncursed Worgen there are Princess Tess Greymane and Lorna Crowley. The only other uncursed Gilnean I can think of is Queen Greymane herself.

All of the Worgen NPCs that you see when the Alliance control Darkshore are seen shfiting into Worgen forms when you’re playing the scenario as a member of the Horde.

The only Gilneans that aren’t confirmed cursed or uncursed are Genn’s Greyguard, and I’m willing to bet they probably have Worgen forms.

Even then, uncursed GIlneans are the vast, vast minority, account to a handful.

Whereas the vast majority of Kul Tirans, and especially the most prominent onces, are of the same body size as Stormwindians and uncursed Gilneans.
