I might be an idiot, but I am in this enterance now and I can’t figure out why the candles aren’t lighting up. I grabbed three of them on the ground now and nothing is happening and i even logged out. I also have my tank npc with me.
Did you use the extra action button to place them in the room?

There is packages of cnadles dropped around the dungeon, but you gotta talk to the npc at the entrance (inside) so you start the “event”, then you place and pick up the candles in the way you want them to be
No need to insult yourself, gotta learn somewhere.
The poster below you is correct though, if you picked up the candles an Extra Action Button icon should appear at the bottom center of your screen. Click that(Or use whatever keybind you got assigned to it), then you’ll see a green reticle giving you the option of where you want to place it.
my candle for some reason was popped in the middle of my action bar hot key and idk how to move that candle hot key button
You should be able to in Edit Mode.
Okay, yeah just checked, go to Extra Abilities and it’ll allow you to move the button position to your liking.

Also, you can put down multiple candles to give yourself lighted room to fight the baddies. Just remember to pick them up before you move on to the next place so you can reuse them.
