Korthia feels rushed/halfassed

Dude if you just compare korthia to something like the timeless isle or suramar you’ll just see and understand how korthia is just not it…

Blizzard why didn’t you put time into this? Shadowlands had a strong start and i’m already bored of korthia on the 2nd day lol.

Suramar was an end game zone meant to be available the first day of Legion’s release. It’s an entire regular zone that was meant to play out the entire course of the expansion. Trying to compare Korthia to Suramar isn’t even in the same realm of being the same thing.

I know. Suramar blows Korthia out of the water that it can’t even be comparable.

Pretty sure People hated how much time gated was for Suramar

Yeah I hated how timegated it was but I still loved hanging out in the city

Just my opinion but I actually felt good and had fun with the new content, changes, felt like was allowed to be a adventurer again and not a timegated rnged gamer that the devs want to control.

I think the problem is the new content isn’t just Korthia, it’s the entire Maw. I don’t know, I kind of enjoyed running around finding new things. I’m looking forward to playing more today when I’m off of work.

Even with all of my issues and complaints with WoW, I honestly had a great time last night and felt…I don’t know, a sense of wonder return. And that’s even before flying, which I eagerly await next week.

Yeah, you have to compare it to Nazjatar and Mechagon together…
Only 8 months to put it out.

I guess the low ceiling is just a Shadowlands “feature”.

Felt good to be able to get lost in the maw and explore.

Yeah! I had my little pet guy out and my friend and I stumbled upon that locked up chest with one of the rings while we were doing the main story. So we took a detour and spent a few hours killing mobs and finding the keys. All because some random little NPC showed me something to unlock. And that something wasn’t time gated by something stupid, it just took effort to open. More of that is nice.

I made a couple threads on Korthia the past week or so. People will be bored to tears of it in 1 week.

They just used assets from Ardenweald and Oribos. This expansion only launched with 4 real zones and now we get the worst patch zone of the modern WoW period.

Losing the gaze of the Jailer’s eye definitely improved the experience of the Maw, in my opinion. I spent way more time there than I usually did.

Yes people did.

Oh for sure, with the Eye gone and being able to mount (as more than a Druid/Worgen, or with those dog mounts) my enjoyment of the Maw has increased. I actually have goals again which is a nice change of pace.

The better comparison is Korthia versus Sunwell

KORTHIA is just the answer to when they dont have the time or care to craft a real new patch area, so they just extend the maw with reject maw designs from shadowlands development, and throw on some vegetation and call it “bold” and “new design” it is a joke

The Maw is a zone… You can’t ignore it just because you don’t like it.

Korthia is a new zone attached to the Maw, which makes it a 6th zone.

Korthia feels like garbage like they reused ideas and questing from legionfall slapped new skins on NPCs the skybox is disgusting total fboming waste of time and resources - don’t even get me started on the plot

Too busy balancing expansion features to make content lol.
