the first Korraks with its level and ilvl scaling and insane XP gains was some of the most fun pvpers have had in a long time, i remember people just playing AV all day every day for months, the scaling also made all gear the same ilvl so you could theorycraft with any gear in the game, it was absolutely amazing. even leveling alts was fun because you learned the class in a real live pvp environment against the same level capped players you were used to facing, it really made you think and figure out how to get the most potential out of each and every spell.

I donāt understand why it was nerfed to begin with. It was insanely fun the first time they had it, and for some reason they decided not to allow it to be fun again.

I got many of my alt army of round 30 50+ toons during that event,never had more fun with an in game event. I would be very pleased if they brought back that version.

Because some people were afkāing their way through levels, and itās easier to just collectively punish everyone.

thats my guess, people where not spending the money to boost to 60 instead they where actually having fun blizzard didnt like that

I mean they could have just made afk detection better, and more severely punished people whobl did it but its probably cheaper to just screw people.
Every character I didnāt have leveled at the time, I leveled in Korrakās and had a blast doing it, because I was sick of questing at that point.
I donāt recall a lot of afkāers though. The ones that did it got booted, but yeah, I can see it making leveling so fast it was nerfed to improve boosts.

I dont think were ever getting the good version again. I had so much with the original too.

Nope. Because blizzard would prefer people spend money on the lvl 60 boost then actually have fun in a pvp, granted lvling from 1-60 only takes a few hours now if even that long.
Just an update, now that I have honor capped 6 characters in thereā¦
There is no scaling. All characters are marked as ā70ā in the ui, but health is not scaled at all. Very low levels can queue, but they can do nothing and are constantly being one shot by other players and by mobs.

The most fun Iāve had was seeing that I could queue for this Event on a level 20. I queued, saw It showed me as a level 70, all good. Proceeded to you know pvp and I died. The developers taught me a valuable lesson. Just because you can do something does not mean you should.
