Questing etc has absolutely nothing to do with the KA system.

I mean… it has everything to do with this… I had a low level shaman. Like… 195 or something like that. I was able to get the quests done with the help of some randos and guildies and start on dailies. Going around and killing rares helped gear me more than the armaments. I just don’t use them because I don’t find them to be worth it.
Key part being: they’re not worth buying.

Do you guys who are like “lul I geared up fast stop crying” realize you did due to luck? I’ve done this 
about six times now thanks to alts. 1 geared up insanely fast, 2 geared up at a reasonable pace, and 3 are still in half garbage gear because the KAs just. Aren’t. Dropping. Same playstyle. Same person behind the screen. Same methods. It’s all a crapshoot.
I thought we were done with RNG in BFA

It’s not broken… The KA system you’re referring to works like this:
KA drop on 200+ toon
Send to fresh 60 toon @ i level 150 or something idek
Boom, fresh 60 has a bunch of KA they can open for gear
Sure, duplicates are possible - even probable. That’s called RNG. One or two pieces should help gear you enough to get into Korthia and get better gear drops. Yes, I died a number of times. Oh well.
I don’t think they’re worth buying because the system wasn’t designed to hand you 226 gear so you can send it to fresh toons.

Not due to luck - I have no life to speak of and spend too much time in front of my computer. Sure, RNG was a part of it… but so was actually playing the toon I wanted to gear.
They deliberately took away our ability to self select slots in favor of a gambling RNG game. Classic blizz self destruct protocol really. I truly don’t understand how stupid the blizz devs are. The more they do this kind of shenanigans, the more people unsub and their MAU’s go down. But the whole point of them doing this on their spreadsheet is to increase MAU’s. Something is broken at a senior management level at blizz HQ.

I’m disabled and in a similar position. Can’t go outside due to rona in my state and disability. No life. Lots of time to play. Same amount of time for each alt. Lots of time goofing off in Korthia.
It’s luck.

Seems to be the case for many of us. If you no life it, your luck is pretty good. I guess for the more time casual players, the system feels broken and needs to be fixed.
