Kobold Housing Endeavor

Out of all the endeavors, this one is really really tough in the neighborhood. When you have to catch the wax from the ground or the Kobold running around, you need to have a marker on the ground like you do for all the other quests in the game. I have done each 10 ish times and maybe caught 2 or 3 out of all the attempts. OR make the rolling wax one pop up more with twice as much wax…… dumbest quest for an endeavor really.

I haven’t done a ton of them, but I’ve actually liked this one so far! It kinda reminds me of the wax-collecting minigame in TWW, which is obviously what they based it on

My main issue with this one is that nothing is really explained. Took me forever to figure out what I needed to do, and even then, as already pointed out the rewards are minimal.

But hey, at least it’s not a repeat for me this month.

I had the Kobold endeavor last month and find it really easy and fun. I leveled my 3 accounts’ houses within a day without any problems.

Also it’s very easy to understand. I don’t get why people have problems understanding what they should do, especially since there’s a kobold who explains it to you step by step.

There is! Like, the first half of it is just the snuffling mechanic from TWW, and then after that everything is explained via an easily accessible NPC, tho ig people just don’t read dialog sometimes or smth (I know I don’t always)

The hardest part was getting the wick. Not a bad endeavor… able to get candles for my house.

Agreed, they had markers on the ground for the stone throwing Elemental in the Amani Troll endeavor and that worked well as you could see where to move to.

The circular marker for the thrown wax doesn’t appear until it’s too late to see or even catch. I was very frustrated.

To add to this, in Founder’s Point some of the wax collecting tasks that pop you up in the air sometimes throw you up in a tree and you cant see anything. Lol.

So let me get this straight. You have trouble following ground markers? lmfao.

The only complaint I had for this endeavor’s process was untangling the wicks. I can’t seem to work out the logic other than just switching knot positions almost randomly until it works itself out. It just eats away at the timer on the activity. I also had one completed candle bug out on me such that I wasn’t able to click on it to start pulling the wick, and that was annoying.

Oh well.

I mean it’s not as generous as the souvenir hunt of course but as far as I know, none of the other endeavors are and that’s just a one-time thing for each player’s Ally & Horde neighborhoods, once you get the achievement you don’t get to ever do it again.
