I have 36/36 mage tower appearances. Just bring them back for finishing the new mage tower as it is harder then antorus mage tower anyway. I will never understand why people get up in arms defending the lack of weapon appearances.
Incidentally even though I have 36/36 appearances I have characters inconvenienced by the limitations because instead of race changing some characters to allied races I just made new ones and those characters which I leveled over old legion characters can’t unlock the other skins. If I want to get some skins I have to level a now level 45 character and do the 10 mythic dungeons or rated battlegrounds(ew) and whatnot instead of on the characters of that class that I played more recently. Its a small issue that really should be changed for the better.
Also to reiterate mage tower was a victory lap in legion if you did antorus. Release mage tower was before legendarys were fixed so you likely didn’t have bis legendarys for it and it was tuned for nighthold heroicish gear. By antorus you had bis leggos, and 100 ilvl and possibly a fat raid trinket that scaled up to legendary ilvl as well as cheese guides for most fights. I would know I did them all and most of them I overgeared with bis legendarys in antorus lfr level gear+welfare epics.

to be fair scarab lord was obtainable for a while up till wrath cause dead servers had not opened the gates yet so someone could just go and get it

Why is scarab lord even remotely similar to mage tower appearances? Scarab lord is
- a mount
- a realm achievement that was limited 1 per realm
- earned through large group effort
While mage tower is
- weapon apperances(which weren’t even a thing til tmog came out expansions later)
- individual achievement that unlimited players at the time could get
- earned via personal individual effort.
Are you trolling or do you just conflate all fomo to be the same?

FOMO is player problem not blizz problem however. tmog should never be a limited time thing. everyone should enjoy the amazing art that is sadly now unappreciated and not used because a lot of the people who did the content dont play or they dont tmog it
