Oh look, they got on an alt.
The way it works is that the Alliance cries about things, they then get things in return for their crying, and then they go on to cry some more. This is the way of things, and this is the way that it will always bee.
Lemme repost this from my Alliance toon then.
This is the alt of Muir.
Suhee, keeping up with elf stuff is going to turn this thread into a flame fest, while your bee complaint is legitimate, your going to devalue your complaint by continuing the elf debate here. Best focus on your request and drop the elf stuff here. There is plenty of threads on elves to put your complaint in then here.
Ahem.
Still a Horde only mount.
And legally unable to be otherwise IIRC because of contest rules.
Yes.
Which is why the bee (which is the equivalent) being treated differently is so galling.
If we don’t get access to the Honeyback Harvester, then you guys shoudn’t get access to Ku’afon or the Child of Torcali.
I still don’t understand why people get upset about anything in this game anymore…Nothing is going to change! Just try and have fun.
Oh please.
Alliance has taken pretty much every Horde base model there is.
Also WoD garrison trading post mounts want to say hello.
I spent a huge majority of my alliance gold buying all the honey because I was too lazy to farm it. Only for it to sit there unused because nobody plays alliance, so yes I would love for it to be cross faction.
Faction exclusive mounts aren’t a bad thing.
That Horde gets everything handed to them on a silver platter and shout outs from the edge lord developers at Blizzcon, while Alliance has to beg for years to get a few things they’ve been wanting, a Bee is a consolation prize.
Please name the exclusive mounts you speak of.
Blood tick from Talanji’s Expedition? Not exclusive. World drop off blood trolls. Easily farmable. Pretty cheap on the AH even now.
Hyena from Vuldunai? Not exclusive. World drop off Sethrak, easily farmable due to hyperspawns, especially in that one spot with the Azerite WQ. Pretty cheap on the AH even now.
The Pterodactyl’s aren’t exclusive because both factions have access to the model and have since throne of thunder during MoP. That’s not even counting the Pterodactly from the Battle of Dazar’alor meta achievement.
What exclusive mount does Horde have? The PvP clefthoof? Which is a reskinned Clefthoof from Warlords of Draenor? Not an exclusive model. Meanwhile the hippo Alliance got is 100% unique and exclusive, despite the zoology and Blizzards own words, which means the hippo should have been Horde.
For what its worth though, the horses and gryphons that Alliance got in BFA are gorgeous models. My Alliance Warlock rides the Storm’s Wake gryphon and Order of Embers(I think it was?) horse almost exclusively.
Hell, I’d be stoked if Horde got a few updated, high res Wyvern models.
Truthfully, it’s not a huge deal to me, and there is a weird metallic looking bee thing we can craft next patch. I just think it’s dumb to have double standards. Our questline mounts are perfectly fine to be usable by Alliance, but yalls aren’t for us? Why?
It’s literally the same model as the BoD meta mount, minus a few ornaments.
After all the bad bee puns, I think yours are the ones that finally gave me hives.
They can, hence why Horde players want the bee. If Kua’fon and Child of Torcali are usable by Alliance upon being completed by a Horde character, then the bee should be usable on Horde characters after the quest and grind has been done on an Alliance character.
the bee mount being horde to ain’t bringing players back who cares the game is half dead and worried about one mount is quite humorous. grow up there’s so many mounts now it probably get used for a week and gone. everyone knows the real good mounts come from the store anyway. i never see alli using it and didn’t see many when it was current when it came out.
‘growing up’ has nothing to do with it. I am simply requesting it to be shared because the horde equivalent (quest obtained mounts) ARE usable by alliance once unlocked on horde.
I’m not asking it to be given to the Horde. They still need to make an alliance toon and level it to 50 and then do the whole grind.
But no, ask the alliance to share and you get flamed as if I’m asking for their firstborn. Where as the horde shares all their (BFA) mount models and now, even a core race. Logic.
idc either way it ain’t helping this game. there needs to be bigger differences. i thought it was dumb what they did to velf. might as well give horde eredar and then let them look like draenei lol. i wish they had bigger differences on both sides from mounts to looks everything.
Was there a Horde only mount in Legion? I don’t recall reading or seeing anything about that. If so, makes sense then.
As for the OP:
Ion pretty much dashed any hopes of the Horde getting the bee mount when he basically said that the Bee mount being exclusive to the Alliance was to make up for the Horse and Gryphon re-colours that we had received.
It’d be a pretty s*** move on Blizz’s part to give the Alliance recolours of mounts we already had, than give us an exclusive mount after the Dev’s realized that 'yeah, we’ve pretty much been living piles of human s*** to one half of our player base", only then turn around and give it to the Horde who the devs have atleast been trying with.
No one company could be that much s***.
And seeing as that wasn’t even close to starting to move players back to 50/50 faction balance, let’s bring on the next dozen Alliance-only benefits.
