I haven’t had time to level Alliance toons since WoD because of the endless grinds. So, I guess no bee mount for me. Maybe after WoW finally stops expanding I’ll finish my alliance toons.
This is definitely not true. The pterodactyl model I referenced has no Alliance obtainable model, among others. The ToT meta mount is not the same model, just the same skeleton.

I mean it would have been fine though if the grind had been exclusive to Alliance while the mount was usable by both factions. To bee honest it doesn’t bother me either way but I do think it would bee fine that way.
We’re getting a Wasp mount in 9.2 to be the counterpart to the Bee IIRC.

Which model are you referencing?
The Cobalt Pterrordax? It’s got a few more ornamental attachments, but it’s still a ‘recolour’.
Ku’fon is available for Alliance characters to use after being unlocked on Horde. And the armored version is the mount rewards from the meta achiev of the battle of Dazar’alor.
So both versions of the new pterodax mount have a color available to use on Alliance.

It is not a recolor, it’s a whole new model.

Well what you posted is the old MoP ToT mount…
This is the Battle of Dazar’alor one.
I thought the bee mount was Alliance only because there was a Horde only mount in the xpac before. If the Horde only mount is not Horde only, then it’s only a matter of time before the bee mount is not Alliance only. I just want to go back to a time when, once you collected a mount on any toon it was usable by all toons. End the mount segregation. End the mount oppression. Everyone should be able to ride the mount they choose once they have collected it.
I never compared those mounts.
I compared it vs the unarmoured one, cause the difference is minimal where as the bee is completely unique. The Black Empire uses the same rig, but is not ‘just a bee with armour’, nor is the Necro fly.
Reminder to the Devs: Being able to have more than 10 groups for +15 or higher keys in the group finder on a Saturday afternoon is STILL Horde only
Yeaaaa not the same. I’m asking for a switch to be flipped. You’re asking for the resetting of the universe.
Since it is an alliance only mount. Not too bright I see.

Yea, but I mean, lore wise. I get why wolves, wyvern, raptors ect are horde only. I get why horses or eleks are Alliance only. But there’s no lore reason for bees.
Yes, because what I was responding to claimed that the Pterrodax mounts were just ToT Glory recolors.
Got the bee mount, flew around in it for a day. Replaced it and never used it since. Now I have at least three reskins of it

I have just as much horde toons as I have alliance. But I forgot, your beard got in your way of reading.
