People were also still trying, and failing regularly, to raid MC after Naxx’s release, lol. Though it was more likely you’d down at least a few bosses around the end of vanilla’s life cycle, maybe even with PUGs.
Molten CORE was always Easy, AQ40 and NAXX were raids, but even by the Pre TBC time, AQ40 became a walk in the Park of how easy it became since everyone learned what to do.
Even on Pservers people were doing AQ40 with no problems.
when APES does it, you and the rest of the idiots will come up here crying about Classic Once more.
Do you see the Problem now Zylvia ^
It was always this easy. This is what we’ve been saying for months in the classic forums which the classic fanbois didn’t want to believe. Classic raiding was very easy, easier than retail LFR. That’s the reality the “no changes” crowd wanted.
only in your server, Warsong Brazillian pugs were steamrolling MC, ONY and BWL all day long.
AQ still had 1 or 2 wipes but it wasn’t hard, but TEDIOUS.
Or literal children. There were 6 year olds playing vanilla lol.
we are in 1.13 not 1.12. Look at your launcher next time you log in.
not hard but tedious sums up a lot of vanilla raids very well.
I posted a wall of text showing the changes made to the game since release. If you are blind or can’t read this is not my problem, although you do have my Sympathy.
I loved FFXI, where you had to complete sometimes infuriating quests just to unlock the map for certain zones.

This isn’t actually relevant, as most of the first-to-60 players were running dungeons to get to cap. Notice how every caster is rocking an Eye of the Beast, all the melee have Blackhand’s Breadth, etc.
-
Debuff limit is actually not a gamebreaker yet either. On Grizzly’s speed kill the extra debuffs were taken up by Corruptions, someone’s Skullforge Reaver proc, and temporary things like Mocking Blow. The big debuffs are Sunder, Faerie Fire, Curse of Elements/Shadows/Recklessness, Hunter’s Mark, Shadow Vulnerability, and Winter’s Chill. That’s eight on the dot. Everything past that is either small amounts of damage or are Tank focused debuffs like Thunderclap. The DPS numbers would be there even if the Tank had to take a bit more damage.

This is just absurd silliness that isn’t supported by any of the changes from patch to patch.
-
Bosses do have simple mechanics, letting people not do stupid things like stack 200+ FR on a boss that never hits you, gimping your DPS.

Y’all need to stop.
Most of which is irrelevant to dropping Rag in no-time flat.
Talent Changes, Itemisation changes, Changes to spell casting are irrelevant? Top lol you are delusional.
Yeah, and every raid after MC had a majority of their bosses downed within the first week of their release. Vanilla raiding wasn’t that hard, even back in Vanilla.
People that think it was hard were just terrible at the game, because all you have to do is look at the world first dates for boss kills to realize the top guilds of the time found most of them pretty easy.
Most people didn’t clear Ragnaros 2 weeks in also because most people didn’t even know Ragnaros existed 2 weeks in. Have people forgotten how tedious attuning everybody and Hydraxian Waterlords stuff is?
These people clearly had all of this planned out well in advance. If you’re even in a position to be summoning Majordomo 2 weeks after launch, you’re clearly significantly ahead of the curve.
Oh man, those Hemo Rogues and Balance Druids were REALLY tearing it up on that Rag kill!
Most of those are delayed for Tier 0.5 release in Phase 5. Any item changes prior to Patch 1.6 was aimed at Molten Core being the end raid, so whining about those changes is irrelevant.
Going to have to be more specific here.
People moved so quickly through content after the BWL launch that they had to overtune Chromaggus, and set C’thun to instant-kill everybody lol.
I was already specific, you not being able to read is not my problem.
Yup. 1.12 is, as harland put it, naxxcraft.
But Make no mistake, naxx will be cleared day one.
But naxx also wont be the cake walk the previous raids will be.
1.12 isn’t what i would consider a prepatch so i don’t know why people keep calling it the TBC prepatch
MOST?
There was a whole other generation of gamers 15 years ago lol. You know, the core audience with jobs and disposable income.
You kids…
