In the context of this conversation, I didnât say anything worth debating and Iâm opting to keep this particular thread light on my part. Thank you though!
Everything is squishy from 63-70.
Itâs the scaling catching up and passing your gear.
It doesnât start to feel good again until you get 370 iLvl range and elites donât start to get trivial until about 390ish.
Evokerâs main gimmick is being able to cast while moving a third of the time while usually moving faster than whatever youâre trying to kill.
Main important things to use as Devastation:
-Renewing Blaze. Get it, use it, love it. If you use it right before a big damaging hit goes off and the damaging hit does not kill you, you will get a bunch of free healing.
-Obsidian Scales. Our only real defensive CD to reduce incoming damage, good to use whenever damage is going out.
-Quell/Wing Buffet/Tail Swipe. Our interrupt and interrupt-adjacent disruption. If you notice a certain ability hitting you very hard (usually one that applies a DoT or just doing a ton of chunk damage) check to see if it can be interrupted. A lot of abilities can be canceled or delayed by shoving mobs around but be warned, donât use Wing Buffet at random during dungeons as it may make things harder.
-Landslide. It roots stuff, usually use it to make some distance from melee mobs and heal or simply flee if you need to.
-Deep Breath. Decent for AoE damage, but also decent for the talented stun and making some distance from mobs that want to slap you.
-Verdant Embrace, Emerald Blossom, and self-cast Living Flame. When all else fails, mash buttons that restore your HP.
The rest are is just managing DPS. Disintegrate on single/two-target(with Scintillation), Pyre on AoE, use Fire Breath and Eternity Surge as often as possible, etcâŚ
Get the Primal Fire trinket from that rare in Azure Span. It is free 100k+ damage and knocks them up.
Well at the end i could defeat the protodragons, yes it was a gear problem i reached max level without the proper level gear. Right now im level 70 with 380 gear but still i found the evoker class pretty squishy. Whatever problem solved thanks all for their help.
