You realize that there were things called “Dishonorable Kills” in Vanilla, right? That included killing “civilian” NPCs (bankers, auctioneers, vendors…), and players that are gray to your level (i.e. lowbies).
EDIT: Oh. I could’ve sworn that lowbies were included in DK’s.

My opinion is. The bindings of reality aren’t. The way the system is implemented currently discourages people from using it.
While I am all for improving things so sociopaths cannot get theirs “feels goods” from only picking fights on people 100 levels below them, dishonorable kills were only from NPCs.
You got absolutely nothing from lowbies.
In my opinion, the reality is Blizz gave up when they did away with PvP servers. Allowing for WM is the absolute lowest possible level of effort they could have made, and here we are.
With PvP servers, they had a means of making meaningful change within the subset of players looking for it. They could have added all the flavoring they wanted to the PvP sundae yet they simply folded and mixed us all in with the plain vanilla ice cream of mainstream PvE servers. That really says it all does it not?
It isn’t like Blizz has ever rose to the PvP challenge anyway, it has always been a disappointing system even at its “best” implementation. The only reason they tried, again in my opinion, was the lure of eSports but they were quick to realize they screwed even that up and dumped us all together with a generic toggle.
I have a super easy solution.
You know the Assassin buff? When you’re on a killing streak in a zone?
Anyone 10+ levels lower than you that you kill, inflicts you with a debuff.
You become visible and Marked on the zone map. Exact position and all.
A bounty is placed on you for Y x Honor. (Y being the number of players killed)
And you can be Globally tracked.
Basically, you gank lowbies? You become a BIG JUICY TARGET for highbies.
Don’t like it? “Just turn off warmode then” or stop ganking lowbies.
I remember people did it anyway.
Look, I’m all for people making suggestions. Have at it.
But don’t turn on WM and then complain when you get WMd as if you didn’t know how it worked.
I’m probably way below 1400 lol. I don’t do arena or rbg’s. I only play warmode.
This is the most asinine thing I’ve read. I do enjoy leveling in warmode. I only level in warmode because I only play warmode. I expect to get ganked at level 20 and that’s part of the enjoyment. If you don’t like it then turn it off.

It’s part of warmode and I don’t want it any other way. PvE players already got rid of PvP servers cause “It’s unfair”. Stop trying to take away what we find fun.
I don’t know how I became the evil PvEr, I enjoy PvP quite a bit too.
The premise that there is some kind of ‘problem’ that needs to be fixed with warmode is false.
Warmode, wpvp is working as intended.
The real problem is that there are some people who aren’t happy with the way it works.
Just because you don’t like it doesn’t mean it needs to be changed.
Then that’s your issue. That’s not a warmode issue.

It is. I’m not complaining one bit about it either. If anything they need to fix it’s people vanishing when they start a WQ. They should be visible at all times.
What’s really funny is that the guy ganking lowbies disappears when a level 120 enemy shows up.

how is the max lvl taking the risk vs a 1-100? what you risk the lvl 20 seeing you before you instantly kill him? Not being able to finish your /lol before your dot ticks? So risky. Also I’m not an idiot that turns pvp mode on. But if you do… then I guess that means you are?
