All this does is push people to gold selling sites. You got to get gold someway and if they nerf legit ways then the obvious solution is buying gold. So what they did isn’t a good idea for the integrity of the game.
Daily’s don’t reward enough gold and daily’s aren’t gold farming which is a huge aspect of WoW and always should be. This only hurts the game and how people play it.
Most dailies are 11g each and you can only do 25 of them…that’s 275g a day. I am glad you are here to tell me I’ll be fine…
Just gotta hold out for the WOW token…that’s the next logical step of #somechanges.

The lack of basic understanding in economics is appalling. If dailies are your top way to make gold, it makes sense that everything in the economy will be priced to reflect the purchasing power the average player has. The economy is massively inflated by these farms, which also make RMT more profitable for gold farmers.
So prices will start going down now? They will not continue to be outrageous due to the number of gold capped players? I can’t wait for WOW Token!

Daily gold isn’t worth much because it’s not gold farming. Daily’s are never supposed to be a sufficient supply of gold. This game is a farming game and when you kill farming you kill a core aspect of the game people enjoy. Which then will mean people will need to buy gold from sites that continue to farm through non legitimate ways.

You cant be this dense. This is acme anvil dense. It has nothing to do with paladins farming strath. The inflation started with mages running Mara / ZG runs and rogues lockpicking BRD in classic and has just carried over. There were gold capped characters just from these alone in classic lol.
Maybe they have issues with bots and simple scripts running strat 100x a day for unlimited gold?

Step #1: Create a new char
Step #2: Sell their starting gear
Step #3: Mail the copper to your main
Step #4: Delete char, repeat
